Beautiful cellar located in the hills of La Morra, in the heart of Langhe: five hundred meters above sea level, with the view sweeping over the plains of Cuneo as far as the beautiful landscape of the Alps, from the Maritimes to the Monte Rosa. Famous for the production of BAROLO, but also Barbera and Nebbiolo.
Dosio hits all the right notes, and has something for everybody. The wine tasting was varied and impressive - there are many more reds than whites, and one of our party truly favored their rose as well! I couldn't leave without ordering a few cases of their recommended reserve back home! If natural scenery is what you're after, the 12 continuous acres are set on a gently sloped hill, where you can see row after row of the grape vines. We were fortunate enough to stay from morning through the afternoon, and saw the changes in scenery from mysterious and foggy in the morning, to hopeful as the clouds cleared up, to completely majestic as the sun broke through and cleared the clouds. It is amazing to see the snow-capped Alps in the distance. The hosts answered all questions and shared about the vineyard, and the owners were very gracious. A must-see destination if your itinerary takes you anywhere near the Piedmont area!

All of the prior reviews here are spot on. Nice wines and, more importantly, an incredible and indelible sense of welcome and conviviality from Carla, who kindly hosted our tasting and treated us like family. The highlight of our trip, and probably the most enjoyable tasting I have ever had, in Italy or elsewhere.

A small family run winery in La Morra, in the heart of the Barolo region. We are focused on producing indigenous variety of grapes such as Dolcetto, Barbera, Nebbiolo, Barolo and a very unique white grape called Nascetta. Our philosophy: be true to the terroir and grapes. Our aim: create high quality wines that show our love and passion for the land and the tradition of winemaking. Our motto: The source of the quality of the wine it's the land that generates the grapes. We are happy to welcome winelovers for tasting our products. If asked we'll be glad to offer you some tipical dishes from the Piemontese culinary tradition.

We stopped off at La Morra as read about this wine shop online. We had a tasting of 5 wines which were all excellent. The woman was very knowledgeable and gave a good overview of the region and terroir. She was very friendly and not patronising. Excellent English skills. A very enjoyable and educational tasting session. Ended up buying 3 bottles though felt no obligation to do so. We just liked it and wanted to take some home!
