We had a fabulous experience at PPP for my dear friend Amy's Hens Day! Right from the initial enquiry Damian was fantastic to deal with, always happy to help and answer any question, he really went out of his way to make the day as smooth and as easy as possible. The food was delicious (the taco pizza is a game changer), there was a great selection of wine and ciders, and being able to have the venue exclusively reserved for us was perfect. We thank Damian and the whole team at PPP for making the day what it was, we will definitely be back!

Patritti Winery

Patritti is quite literally tucked away on a quiet suburban street in Dover Gardens - just minutes from the tourist precincts of Glenelg and Brighton, and two minutes from Westfield Marion shopping centre. Our historic winery is unique: we are the only fully operational, 100% family-owned winery and cellar door located in an Australian capital city. We are also the custodians of the world's oldest commercial, urban vineyard, the Marion Vineyard, and make an award winning wine from its vines. At our cellar door we offer tastings across our range of award-winning wines and non-alcoholic fruit juices.

Fantastic cellar door experience. Thank you Trevor and Jo for going above and beyond. Tasting your premium range was amazing especially your premium Shiraz wines and fortified wines. Thoroughly enjoyed the GUIDED TOUR of the National Wine Centre and the TASTE OF SOUTH AUSTRALIA wine and food TASTING at the National Wine Centre, Adelaide today. Our guide was sommelier Andrew Bruce. The first 30 minutes was the “tour”, a stroll around the Phillip Cox designed building with talk of the development of wine in Australia, a chance to look at some of the exhibits and an account of the development of the Centre enterprise. Then a hour sitting down with Andrew and four excellent wines from four different SA wine regions with a matched tasting plate. We’d asked for a pescatarian tasting plate to accompany the wines, which turned out to be exceptional food. Andrew selected good wine matches and his affably delivered tasting and region notes, backed up by wine maker anecdotes and personal experience made this a lovely afternoon. Rather than enter from the main road, if the weather is fine, a stroll through the Botanic Gardens and into the Centre through the back entrance is a great additional experience.

Tomich Wines

tomich Wines is a multi-generations, familiy owned boutique winery. Our vineyard is situated 400m above sea level in a 1,000mm rainfall zone, which is true cool climate country. Ancient soils of red clays over quartz and schist produce delicate wines, a true expression of the ‘terroir’. The region promotes long, slow ripening of the fruit allowing for the production of wines that display intense, pure fruit flavours, which are complex in nature. The vineyard is located in the ‘dress circle’ location of the Adelaide Hills, adjacent to Shaw & Smith iconic M3 vineyard with Nepenthe and Bird in Hand down the road. The Tomich family has been making wine since 1946. Family patriarch John Tomich learnt first hand the skills and knowledge required to grow grapes from his father Ivan, who was born to a miner in Broken Hill in 1913. John, with an eye to detail, whilst endeavouring to produce better wines, completed his post graduate studies in wine making and undertook his Masters of Wine program in London. The vineyard and winery are run by Randal and John, whose passion for the land and wine is backed up by a winemaking team, past and present, including Peter Leske, Tim Knappstein and Andrew Pike. Randal’s viticultural skills, particularly vineyard development and soils, are well respected in the industry having established vineyards in Australia and California for the likes of Penfolds, Pikes and Monterey Pacific. With 27 individual blocks planted over 322 acres, this allows the winemakers the diversity to select the perfect parcels of fruit with the right fruit expression. We farm with an organic approach, trading softly. Soil structure is key allowing vine roots to spread out and explore more soil and we rely on natural organisms to make nutrition from compost which the vines thrive on. Tomich Wines City Cellar Door A great way to celebrate fabulous wine, food and company. Our City Cellar Door is located in Unley on vibrant King William Road in a handsome turn-of-the-century bluestone villa. You can come in a enjoy a glass or bottle of wine with a cheese platter on the veranda. Or you can enjoy a guided wine tasting of the Tomich Woodside Vineyard range and selected Icons of Woodside wines accompanied by matched Woodside Cheese Wrights seasonal cheeses.
