A great opportunity to sample award wining wines of the Overberg Wine Region. Visiting La Vierge Vineyards and Bosman Family vineyards . Walk ends at the magnificent Sumaridge and includes a 3 tasting experiences and a cheese/charcuterie platter.

The walk is interesting and varied, along single tracks and country lanes, with beautiful mountain scenery and farmland. Encompassing vineyards and orchards, horse paddocks and farms in what is aptly called the" Heaven & Earth" valley. We start at La Vierge with a chocolate & nougat wine tasting while enjoying an awesome view of the valley below. From there its a mostly downhill jaunt /wobble through a protea farm to the Frame House of Bosman Family Vineyards. The ramble continues through a horse farm , orchards and vineyards to Sumaridge Estate. Here we enjoy an excellent platter with their superb wine at the trail end.

Let us take you on a 3 day hiking and wine adventure along our rugged coastline, through the Cape floral kingdom and into the aptly named Hemel en Aarde (Heaven and Earth) Valley. We have chosen some of our favourite hikes and will introduce you to our winemaking friends. September - November is Southern Right whale season and hiking along the Cliff Path walk is the perfect way to spot them. The rest of the year Brydes whales, dolphins, seals and sometimes orcas can be spotted. We will also take you to walk amongst a colony of African penguins. All finished off each day with pilates by the pool, a great way to stretch after a days hiking, and a delicious meal.
