We had a wonderful time visiting wine farms in Paarl and Stellenbosch. I had originally booked a group tour with a friend but we ended up being the only ones on the tour. Adriaan (the owner) was fantastic in coordinating the tour and making everything happen although he was out of town. Terrific costumer service! Lourens who was our guide for the day was amazing. The pick up/drop off at the hotel was good, the wine farms and tastings were great. We also had a fantastic lunch! All in all 5 star day and we highly recommend this wine tour to others! Many thanks and big smiles from, Marte and Ida from Norway

What a fantastic experience! We travelled to Hermanus for a girls weekend amidst the Covid 19 drama (obviously before lockdown was even announced), we really considered canceling but it was the best decision to go! Gillian and Ralph were exceptional hosts from the initial booking. They were able to accommodate our specific requests without any complaints. Their knowledge of the area and plant life on our walks were amazing. The whole trip was a once in a lifetime experience, we visited stunning wine farms, walked through the most beautiful surroundings and ate like absolute kings (or queens in our case). Even though our plans changed daily with new rules implemented for Covid 19, they were able to roll with this and change around things to make sure we still had a fabulous time. I will highly recommended this trip to anyone that loves wine, lives nature and just likes experiencing the best our country has to offer.

An exploration of the valley nestling between the Babylonstoring and Kleinrivierberge Mountain ranges. Many of the wine estate owners have set apart tracts of their land as part of a conservancy to create corridors within the region that protect the unique indigenous fynbos. The walk is interesting and varied, along single tracks and country lanes, with beautiful mountain scenery and farmland. Encompassing vineyards and orchards, horse paddocks and farms in what is aptly called the" Heaven & Earth" valley. We start at La Vierge with a chocolate & nougat wine tasting while enjoying an awesome view of the valley below. From there its a mostly downhill jaunt /wobble through a protea farm to the Frame House of Bosman Family Vineyards. The ramble continues through a horse farm , orchards and vineyards to Sumaridge Estate. Here we enjoy an excellent platter with their superb wine at the trail end.

Inclusions: We brew fresh tea or coffee on route, Wine tastings at La Vierge, Bosman Hermanus and Sumaridge, Sumaridge offers a variety of sumptuous platters that are wonderful as a lunch

Exclusions: Private transportation

We had a fantastic day with Ralph and Gilly who guided us on the Kogelburg Trail. Their knowledge of plants, animals, insects and geology is outstanding, they are super passionate about nature and are able to pass this across in the most engaging way. We (Danel my wife and myself), picked up so much- plantlife especially, all through the most scenic of walks. Ralph and Gill met us at 7.15 prompt and drove us from the meeting point to the reserve (we were a group of 2 so could fit), then at stops around the trail brewed coffee and also provided two large bottles of water each and a fantastic packed lunch. The trail is long so you need to be fairly fit, but the pace was comfortable-the scenery takes your mind off any aches! Ralph and Gill offer a lot of shorter walks and different options, we are super tempted to book a wine walk as well! They are super organised and very accommodating-we booked at short notice, though I would suggest to book early as we were lucky they could accommodate us. We are looking at a whale tour for the future. Nothing but praise to give!

Other than our unique biospheres, wildlife, diverse people, culture and history, one of the truly amazing aspects of living in Cape Town and the Western Cape is that we are privileged to enjoy both the majestic surrounding mountains as well as the beauty of the ocean. On this 2 day/1 night tour, we manage to showcase this as locals, through a range of truly unforgettable experiences within the countryside and small villages of the Overberg Region. Alongside locals who feel as passionate about their home and trade as I do, we will forge a collection of memories that center around a common theme: "Born of the Sea, Guided by the Stars, Blessed by the Earth." What makes this tour so unique is that it packs in many different elements of our incredible way of life here in the Western Cape, which will leave you with a true understanding of what locals enjoy... observe wild horses roaming through an historic town, spot whales, dolphins and penguins off a stunning coast line and so much more!
