I am by no means a fan of mead.....that is until we came here. The prickly pear and passion fruit meads were to die for and I actually bought bottles of each to take back home! This was such a neat experience!! We will definitely be back!

This winery was our third stop of the day while visiting the area. They were very busy, but we decided to stay and try their 6 wines that they were pouring. We started with the Viognier, which was very pleasant. The rose and the reds were all nice wines. We truly enjoyed their Lakawa Malbec and bought us a couple of bottles. One of them, they opened for us, and we enjoyed it with a couple of their goat cheese selections from a local producer, that they offer for sale. Very nice winery to visit.

1st let me say this, our group experience (4 of us) was the MOST PLEASANT surprise we encountered during the Phoenix portion of our Arizona trip. The customer service experience, the freindly, family oriented atmosphere only added to the truly great wines they served! We sampled, they of course couldn't resist purchasing a representaive selection of delightful wines! The fact that they are all Low sulfate wines only add to benefit. Great taste, reseasonably price (don't let that one fool you, just buy more ) are all fantastic reasons to visit and meet the owners on site. Yes, myself, my wife, my brother and his wife ( who are both very astute wine people from Denver) are all in on this one. Don't miss out if you're around Phoenix, visit if your content to order on line, do that they ship!!!

First, Cody our server, was a blast to chat with. Really knows his stuff and is passionate about what he does. We are probably borderline wine snobs with a son and his significant other in the industry in California so we have drunk our share of very good wine but I have to say we really like what we tasted at Cabal and the sister winery of Passion Cellars. We signed up for the wine club and bought a case to boot. Besides, you're helping support the Az wine industry

Unknown to me before I went to Sedona, there is a growing wine culture and production area in the state. While most of the wine grapes, as I understand, are from the SE corner of AZ, there are several tasting rooms and wine bars in or near Sedona that have AZ and wines from places, domestic and international. We came to this place twice and found the people working there to be knowledgeable and very engaged. This was a perfect place to take a break from sightseeing in crisp January weather.

This is a wonderful place to wind-down after work with friends, or on the weekend as an evening get-together. They also regularly hold special events that benefit one charity organization or another, which gives them extra points in my book. Wine selection is very nice, and they have a handful of beers as well. Well worth a look if you like cozy spaces.
