Pristine glory, thanks to the restrictions associated with a tiger reserve. Clean and green surroundings, no garbage. The ride on the jeep (only few recognised jeeps allowed) was quite an experience as the road is not surfaced. (purposely I think to avoid too many visitors) Not for weak at heart, mind or body. I am still nursing a bad neck as I rode in the rear of the jeep. This is one place which has remained unchanged even after 45 years. Highly recommend spending at least an hour (if the jeep driver obliges) sitting under the water. It was heavenly!

We visited In february 2020 and had a great experience. I dont think its open now. There is no KSRTC bus facility to reach Sirimane waterfalls, but there is a bus to Kigga which you can board from Sringeri and then you can walk 5 kms, but this is not quite opted. Hiring a private vehicle(4 wheeler, again 2 wheeler not suggested) from Sringeri for to and fro is the best option suggested by locals too as the road to watefalls is kind of deserted and not very smooth. Our hotel receptionist guided us in right way and after visiting Sringeri Sharadamba temple we headed to Sirimane waterfalls.water was not deep and was pretty safe for non-swimmers

You need to go near Kuteera homestay inorder to see the scenic beauty. If you are willing to go there by walk you need to walk some 3.5-4km on a dusty road for about 35 min or you can book a Jeep ride of cost 600Rs for 6 members.Instead you can go with bikes.Condition of dusty road is completely bad.Your energy get's completely exhaust if you go by walk.

After you survive the Jeep drive from the road to the falls, you will be grateful not just for getting a glimpse of this falls. Falls are located on a private property and hence the jeeps are the only way to get there. A two way fare costs a fixed price and collected before the journey starts. It's a dry and dusty ride but definitely worth it. Keep the place clean and leave no trace behind.

It is an experience by itself to take a bath here. Natural water gushing from the stones makes you crave for it. There is a stone bench where you can sit and enjoy the natural shower.
