December 5, 2021 Nicolette Lion

Every neighborhood in San Francisco has its own personality, from the hippie chic of the Upper Haight to the hipster grit of the Mission. The Marina district boasts trendy bistros and postcard-perfect views of the Golden Gate Bridge, while Noe Valley offers quaint and quiet boutiques. Wave hello to the sea lions at Pier 39, and sample local cheese and charcuterie at the Ferry Building. Sit in on a yoga session in Dolores Park or marvel at the Dutch Windmill across from Ocean Beach.

We did this tour during COVID-19 and it was perfect! So happy that Dara was willing to work with our family of five. We walked and drove our car instead of public transport. We felt completely safe. The tour was so informative and fun! I made a huge list of museums to visit when they all open up again. I would have never found all the little stores and learned the rich history on my own. Definitely a memorable tour during a memorable time. Thank you Dara!!

Our tour guide, Lauren, was super friendly and made it a really nice experience. Can't wait to try out the other food tours they offer!

There are two Chinatowns, one that you see from a van or bus, and the one that can only be experienced on foot in the back alleys, food markets, and local restaurants. One Chinatown, the one from the bus, is interesting. Our Chinatown will surprise you with new adventures around every corner. In our Chinatown, artisans form Fortune Cookies by hand. We'll explore exotic and unique Asian produce, herbs, and teas from the very people who know them best. We'll uncover their hidden secrets only intrepid locals know.
