The Province of Perugia (Italian: Provincia di Perugia) is the larger of the two provinces in the Umbria region of Italy, comprising two-thirds of both the area and population of the region. Its capital is the city of Perugia. The province covered all of Umbria until 1927, when the province of Terni was carved out of its southern third. The province of Perugia has an area of 6,334 km² covering two-thirds of Umbria, and a total population of about 660,000. There are 59 comunes (Italian: comuni) in the province. The province has numerous tourist attractions, especially artistic and historical ones, and is home to the Lake Trasimeno, the largest lake of Central Italy. It historically the ancestral origin of the Umbri, while later it was a Roman province and then part of the Papal States until the late 19th century.

I dont know if there are many tours to choose from in Assisi, but you dont need to look anymore, just book this one. This time in Italy we took a lot of guided tours and I can honestly say that Michele was one of the best guides we had ever encountered in Italy. had small group vacation planned for last October. cancelled due to Covid. Was offered voucher or refund. told them we needed refund due to not knowing if we would be travelling within a year. was told they would refund our money. Still waiting on a refund of 2084 and 1500 Euros.. that was over 7 months ago when it was cancelled. numerous emails. most of the time no response. Was promised refund when the person handling our group returned to work. nothing yet... Was really looking forward to a great vacation.

We then proceeded to have a Geography , History and Philosophy discussion with your good self as you spoke about all your travels to America , your family heritage and your stories about organic farming and products - do you remember the discussion around “ Corn” manufacture in America. Ele was just fantastic. She met us at Piazza Navona and took us through some wonderful highlights of Rome. We really enjoyed her descriptions of the sites, the Caravaggios we saw in one of the churches and the coffee we got. She also gave us some great tips on where to shop for gifts and places to eat while we visited Rome. She was fun to talk to and listen to and we're so glad we had a chance to enjoy a personal tour of some of the city's highlights. Thank you Ele! Our original travel date was November 2018 but we loved her so much we wanted to talk about it again.
