We took the day tour of Eze, Monaco and Monte Carlo. The driver was friendly and informative. Loved Eze and Monaco. The Monte Carlo area was disappointing...just not our thing, I guess. Did not like the perfume factory tour along the way. The highlight was Eze, and the wonderful driver, Alessandro.

This is a review about our experience "so far" with Christopher and Ooh Provence. A number of months ago, as usual, I did extensive research and found a photographer and I contacted him to see about a photo experience while in Marseille. He responded immediately and then told me about his tour company which extends beyond just photography. It was perfect...a guide that could help 2 amateur photographers get some unique shots in a great city plus learn about the history at the same time. I find this is a great way to explore a city. So, of course ,I booked and paid the deposit etc. and we confirmed our date. Then along came Covid 19 and I finally had to cancel .This company offers full refund up to 24 hours in advance of tour and Christopher had no problem with an immediate refund. I will add that is not the case with some hotels etc. I am so impressed with the customer service under very extraordinary circumstances and will definitely book with Ooh Provence in the future when we can return post Covid. Based on my experience so far I am sure we will have a great time touring Marseille and the surrounding area with Christopher. I often find the true test of a good travel company is how they handle unexpected problems and can be flexible. Christopher delivers on this for sure!!

Our local guide (“small” Lawrence) was kind and knowledgeable, and logistics with her and the tour were seamless. Only recommendation would be to cut the wax museum visit (which comes at the end of the day) because by then, you’ve heard Therese’ story a lot and seen “real” sites so the wax museum seemed superfluous.

Maybe you know the famous Aix's nickname: "The thousand fountains city". Well, there many fountains, it is true, but no thousand, just many. On the other hand, you know, in the South of France, often we "overstate". Anyway, they are beautiful. So, it is time to discover them even if sometimes, they are hidden in gardens! From "la Rotonde" to the "Cours Mirabeau", learn about the secrets of the fountains and gardens.

Hi, my name is Richard. I really enjoyed my first year of Aix Walking Tours , my love of this town and history is a great combination . I met lots of interesting, engaging people from all over the world and had a ton of great reviews and I was looking forward to an even better 2020 and then Covid19 . The good news is we are now back, so if you can get to Aix , I would love to see you. I have lived and worked in the UK, USA and Asia . On a year plus family trip around the world we took a lot of walking tours. Its the best way to get to know a city and I got to know what makes a good walking tour - Small groups , so you can hear and ask questions. A guide who knows the facts , but also the stories , the characters , the fun, what its like to actually live in the city. I want you to know Aix and even want to live here , or at least come back and visit again !

We spent a lovely few hours strolling around Aix with Dickie listening to the stories that make Aix the town that it is today. Dickie is very engaging, and knowledgeable, and very happy to share his knowledge with the group. The tour group size was small and intimate. Making a lovely day out.
