Probably best known for its eponymous beer, Sapporo—the capital of Hokkaido, Japan’s northernmost island—has maintained the youthful and open atmosphere of the 1972 Olympic Winter Games, drawing international visitors for its annual Snow Festival and its world-famous ramen. Those seeking out the full diversity of Japanese cuisine will want to visit: a city with a ramen-inspired theme park is one that embraces and pampers foodies.

We went to ㈱杉山水産 根室かに市場 場外市場店. We ordered the hairy crab in one of the restaurants costing around 4,950 yen and a king crab for abour 12,600 yen. the live King Crab is huge and can be shared among 2~3 adults. Trust me crab lovers will love the fresh crabs. For those who drive, parking may be hard to locate. I repeat, do not park anywhere you like or you might get a fine. Location of a free parking nearby that I have found is at 43.069001, 141.319794.
