Run by a lovely welcoming couple. The room and was bright, spacious, well equipped and nicely decorated. the shower was excellent and there was a toilet separate from the shower room. We ate in the newly opened Auberge and that also was excellent value. A bonus was the well equipped kitchen and fridge with drinks available on an honesty basis. I hope that nobody takes advantage of this as it was a nice touch.

Located in front of a 35m waterfall which you can admire from your bed in the rooms Forge, Eau and Pierre, the Moulin des Fees is the last remaining building of the hamlet of the Saut Girard forges, in the heart of the classified site of "Cascade du Hérisson". You are not only on the official path of the waterfalls site, but you also reach directly from our house the path of the Pic de l'Aigle (Eagle Peak), the Tour des 4 lacs (4 Lakes path - Ilay, Grand Maclu, Petit Maclu, Narlay) and the Tour du lac de Bonlieu (Bonlieu lake path). At the heart of nature, come and relax in this place full of history and legends ... Enjoy the rainy days to see waterfalls in full water and use sunny time to swim in the lakes and discover the forest. Our 5 guest rooms each have their own personality, and their fairy: - The room Vent (wind), bright and airy, takes you into the sky and clouds, with its four-poster bed and a shower that pours warm rain. Beautiful bathroom with sink, toilet and shower directly overlooking the valley and the treetops. Possibility to add an extra bed. - the room Forge (forge), the largest with a bathtub overlooking the waterfall and the colors of fire and steel, will be perfect for a couple as well as for a family thanks to its convertible sofa that welcome two more persons. Large bathroom with shower, tub, toilet and two sinks overlooking the waterfall. - The water room, small case for a couple, takes you into the world of lakes and ponds, with direct views of the mill pond and waterfall. Shower, sink and toilet inside the room. 2 people max. - Forest room immerses you in the dominant element of the Jura landscape, wood: everything reminds it in this room, and the view of the long trunks of beech and ash trees will give you the feeling of being a squirrel on a branch. Its sofa bed can accommodate an additional adult or two children. Its large bathroom offers, besides a shower, toilet and sink, a huge tub welcoming up to 4 persons and overlooking the forest. - Room Pierre is crossed with a zinc waterfall on a stone wall: in front of the waterfall, in a mineral universe, this small room for people in love will surprise you. Sink, shower and toilet in the room, separated by a wall from the bed.
We went for a family party, to hike along the water falls ( Cascades du Hérisson, Jura mountains) and enjoy time together. The place is fantastic, large and well equipped rooms, and a very tasty breakfast. A perfect place to chill out!

Set in a beautiful part of Burgundy. Hameau de Grilles: halfway between St Fargeau and St Saveur. There is plenty to do on this well run campsite: from golf, table tennis, swimming and horse riding. The lodges are superb: modern, spacious and clean: albeit if you rent a roulotte they are a little small even for a couple: so would advise against a roulotte for more than one night. The owners are very friendly and do as much as they can to help make your stay. Linen and towels are supplied and there is a hair dryer in the modern bathroom. There are plenty of restaurants in the nearby towns but check in advance as towards the end of the season many decide to do shorter hours but fail to update their website (so show as open when closed). All in all a really lovely break and we would go back.

Charm'Attitude is a lovely guest house, set on the edge of a small village, in the heart of Burgundy wine region. Outbuildings, once used to store wine, have been renovated to offer 5 luxurious rooms, each filled with a unique character. After a delicious breakfast made with local products, guests can visit the nearby vineyards, spend time by the pool enjoying the peace and serenity of the leafy surrounds.
We had a great stay at Charme D’Attitude and really enjoyed it. We were 13 people and the spacious house and extensive grounds meant we could all meet up and enjoy each other’s company while at the same time withdraw as needed. The house is clean, functional and nicely decorated. The kitchen is very well equipped and able to cater for a large number of people. Finally the garden is fantastic and great for playing football etc. Only downside is that there is nothing around the house, for example for fresh bread in the morning it was a 10 min drive to nearest boulangerie. Finally, Florence provided excellent service and for example arranged a chef to come and cook for us. Many thanks Florence for an excellent stay!

Kind and friendly reception staff. I only spoke French with them, so can't attest to their English. Located 10 minutes walk from the town centre, overlooking the vast marsh that leads to the Lac des Rousses. Good parking available. Easy driving around town. Made an August booking at the last minute. Got a 'quad' room for my family of three. There were two twin beds on the lower level, and up some very steep steps in a loft was a double bed. The temperature difference in the summer was stunning between the two levels, even with all windows open on a chilly night, following a warm day. Sweating upstairs, freezing downstairs. Nice indoor heated swimming pool was a hit. Sauna and steam really good. Jacuzzi incorporated in the pool was not hot and minimal pressure, but could still possibly give some relief after a day of skiing or hiking. WiFi on offer was SFR, or FON, but I couldn't get my supposedly FON-compatible BT internet credentials to be accepted, and I wasn't prepared to pay for WiFi.

I liked this place as a base for a week of local touring. The road access and parking ,in a big courtyard with electric gate, was excellent. It was easily found ,with good key handover arrangements. There is a giant ,good quality supermarket and laundrette across the road. We had appartement 3,split level with a large and small bedroom upstairs. The internal stairs were steep, but with a proper bannister.Decor was new with Italianate travertine floors and bathroom walls.Downstairs layout was sensible, with a big wardrobe/ drawers to avoid the need to take suitcases up the narrow stairs.Although there was no shower, the bathroom was functional, witha proper shower door. There were the usual cooking facilites, and a dishwasher.Unfortunately, the previous occupants had “ removed” some items, but the owner corrected this immediately on request. The bed was comfortable ,and it was quiet at night.Upstairs there was a fan,and downstairs a portable air conditioner, which worked well. I think the present owners are quite new,and I am sure the property will improve even further with time.I would be most happy to return.
