We booked a customize tour to see the highlights and a beekeeper. We didn’t need a visit to the island in the lake, nor see the inside of the castle. It was well planned and had some nice extra’s. The Vintgar Gorge took quiet some time but is is a highlight. The ebikes are modern and helped us on all steep hills. Closing with a nice Bled Cream cake finished it of. Our guide could tell a whole lot about everything we came across and also about the country itself. The beekeeping visit is also recommended.

We enjoyed the hidden secrets of Ljubljana tour with Primoz. He guided us to a number of hidden gems that we would not have noticed had we toured on our own. He is very knowledgeable about the city and was prepared with print material to better describe and explain certain aspects of the city, which was really helpful. His manner throughout our 2 hour tour was pleasant, considerate and full of fun and interesting facts. The time just flew. Especially appreciated, was the spectacular sunset that he orchestrated for our pleasure at the end of the tour on Butcher's Bridge ( with all the lover's locks ). Great way to end a very nice tour!! Thank you!!

Do you like lakes and unspoiled nature? If your answer is yes, then this is certainly a trip for you!  In a day trip you will explore the magical Alpine lakes of Bled and Bohinj and feel the mountainous charms of Slovenia’s Alpine region. A walk around Lake Bled and a ride with traditional “pletna” boat to little Bled Island is the perfect combination to see the beautiful nature and the city. You can admire and explore Bled Castle perched on a cliff above the lake and once on top enjoy a cup of coffee with the most famous dessert in Slovenia “Kremsnita” (vanilla cream cake) or try scrumptious "potica" nut cake. Be amazed by the beauty of Vintgar Gorge where a wooden path will take you along the picturesque gorge with the rushing river Radovna and vertical rocks. In Bohinj you will be surrounded by the high mountains reflecting in Bohinj lake and you will have the chance to explore and feel the relaxed life of small alpine villages such as Ribicev Laz and Ukanc.  This day trip takes you to Lake Bled, one of the most popular tourist attractions in Slovenia. We were picked up at the bus stop near our apartment on time. The van was comfort enough. Our driver was Alenka. She was really a good driver and tour guide. She explained everything we need to know and arranged the time perfectly. So we didn't need to rush at every spots, including enough lunch time to taste the traditional food. We were the last group to be picked up. Then we start our trip to Vintgar Gorge. Alenka said we should to arrive early to avoid crowd. And it was true. When we come there were only a few people. We took a walk along the gorge for half an hour. The view was very amazing. When we walk back there were more visitor. Good decision to put Vintgar Gas as the first destination. Then we continued to Bled. We visited the church at Bled Island by using boat which including in the package. We have enough time as well to take some pictures at the lake's edge including at the photo spot with heart shaped. Alenka also suggested us some restaurants and we chose a restaurant which sale local food. The meeting point was also easy to find. After lunch we went to Predjama Castle. The castle was amazing and need long enough time to explore all spots inside the castle. There were some steepy access and stairs as well so we should to use comfort shoes. Our last destination was Postojna Cave. And again it was a good arrangement because the cave was less crowded and we were the last group entering the cave that day. We finish the trip and asked Alenka to drop us near Dragon Bridge to explore another great spot in Ljubljana in the evening.
