A friend who lives in Amsterdam invited my wife and me on a Rederij Paping cruise to celebrate our friend's birthday. A wonderful experience. Paap (the owner) was our captain and boy does he know the city! He gave us a number of new insights into Amsterdam history and geography without interrupting our enjoyment of the birthday celebration. We traveled on several of the smaller, more obscure canals, and he dropped us off on a canal just a block from where our friend lives so we could continue the celebration. We have been on many canal cruises and this was so much nicer and more personal than the big tour boats. Comfortable boats, nice people.

It was worth every penny. We had a canal tour to take that evening & were in a hurry & she even helped us figure out how to get there. Thanks Victoria! We visited in September of 2018.

Felicia was our tour guide. Very knowledgeable, friendly, and open to any question we had. We enjoyed the banter, the jokes and the serious information about her trade. The stroll through the district, the alleys, the view of the room and explanation of the working relationships were all beneficial in gaining a full understanding. Would highly recommend this tour.
