Beautiful scenery, exotic wildlife. You can even see a monkey or two if you look closely enough. The sunset over the surrounding mountains are breathtaking. I am not a kayaker, but my time at Epic was well worth it from a standpoint of getting away from the rat race for a minute. Come check it out!

We enjoy the guided tour of William in Tirimbina. From start to the end all was great, weather and the amount of birds, reptiles and even mammals we saw. We were able to get more than 1000 pics in just 3 hours of walk.^ We recommend this guide to any serious birdwatcher. William is a great ornithologist and will localize the birds in seconds for you. Book him by calling to the NP and ask for him as your guide.

My wife and I had a very interesting kayaking trip with two nice guides. The river Sarapiqui is excellent to paddle and the guides of the SOC know the best places to paddle for every skill level. From beginner classes to advanced level there are many things to do for everybody. The guides (of course) are super skilled kayakers and watch for your safety at every time. The hole team at SOC is very friendly and nice and made us a very pleasant stay in La Virgen. We would recommend the Sarapiqui Outdoor Center for everyone who wants to have fun in the white water!
