San Gimignano, known as the "city of beautiful towers," had 72 towers in its heyday. Now 14 remain, and, rising above Tuscany's Elsa Valley, they make the town look like a medieval dreamscape. Take in the fresco-covered Collegiate Church, the Civic Museum and the views from atop 177-foot Torre Grossa. Daytrippers from Florence tend to fill up the streets during the day, so for a more up-close-and-personal look at the town, spend the night.

After a morning trip to San Gimignano town, we rolled ourselves down the hill and parked up at the picturesque, tranquil setting that is Guardastelle. We were greeted by a charming gardener who escorted us to our host, Rica. Rica was just wonderful, full of knowledge and made the tour really fun and interesting. The tour was followed by the tasting with lunch, which was delicious! Couldn't fault a thing and would highly suggest this to anyone looking for a perfect afternoon...and of course fabulous wine. Guidelines for COVID-19 were also fully met with mask wearing a must. Thank you Rica!!

We had the best day of our vacation, at the Marronaia winery. The hospitality of all the staff made us feel welcome and like family. Learning to make authentic pizza and Prosecco gelato was a memory to take home with us. Wine tasting and olive oil tasting has committed us to staying in touch with the family and winery. I now order their wines regularly that get shipped to the states with absolutely no glitches. My all time favorite is the Sparkling Rose' called Quarzo. Whenever I share it with friends, they want more of it. I'm a little embarrassed to say how many cases I've ordered in a short amount of time. It really is that good!! We also love their olive oil. The fond memories of our day at the winery is calling us back to revisit the experience. Thank you to the family that cares to make their guests experience memorable, leaving with fondness in their hearts to return.

Wish we had read the reviews before booking. Palermo is quite small and most the main sights are very central, so you don’t really need a bus tour. However, even if you are not keen on walking, the bus tour will be of little use, as the advertised ‘hop on, hop off, every 20 minutes’ is simply untrue. The bus only arrives every 90 minutes (we lunched in a restaurant next to the stop we alighted from and that was the time gap). In addition, there is no access to a live map for bus arrivals, so you have no idea when the next bus will arrive. In a nutshell, it’s a rip off.

This was our 2nd private tour that we did through Uniquetuscany (2017/2020). Our guide, Alessandro was very specific to the covid restrictions and offered us new masks during the day! He did a wonderful job explaining the history of the towns. Our highlight was the visit to Tuscany organic farm where we had our lunch with amazing view. We stopped at Siena, San Gimignano and Pisa. There was a lot of walking and moving from in and out of the minivan so make sure you wear comfortable shoes. I definitely recommend this tour while visiting Florence since you get a lot of history while on the minivan to each town. Just not enough time in all the towns but 10 hours is a long day! still worth the trip! Highly recommended..

I cannot say enough good things about our experiences with the Tenuto Torciano Winery. Two years ago, during our trip through Tuscany, we spent an afternoon drinking wine and eating lasagna in their tasting room... one of the highlights of our trip. This past week, we were thrilled to welcome Paolo into our dining room (via Zoom) for an online wine tasting. Tenuto Torciano sent the wine and Paolo walked us through it... so fun and quite delicious! Even though it was 1:00 a.m. in Italy, Paolo was warm and witty... knowledgeable... and so proud of his family's business.

Christian helped make our Florence experience memorable! My husband and I traveled throughout Italy with our two young children ( 8 and 5 years old) and they were so excited for their Fiat tour. They were the only kids on the tour but Christian made sure it fun and educational for them. The whole group was inviting and it was great to get to meet people from all around the world! My kids can not wait to travel more and still talk about how awesome the tour was. I highly recommend this tour with or without kids. We were taken to scenic views throughout Tuscany and even had to maneuver through the streets of Florence in a super fun classic Fiat. Everywhere we drove people would stop and wave because of the group of Fiats brought joy to everyone! This was the best tour we took in Italy and when we come back for a visit we are definitely doing it again! (Our tour was pre-covid)

We did a private wine country tour with Francesco in October 2019 (it has taken me entirely too long to write this review). We had a great time with Francesco. He is so personable and was so much fun to spend the day with. Ask him to tell you the story of why there are black roosters on Chianti Classico wine bottles. Francesco is very professional, was able to accommodate a change in plans based on our preferences, and delivered top-notch service throughout the day. If (when) we go back to Florence, we will be giving Francesco a call!
