Then we will move to the Schroeder Winery, during the guided tour we will discover how one of its caves coined one of its greatest treasures: "Panamericansaurus Schroederi" dinosaur discovered during the construction of the winery that today houses the paleontological remains. The town of Villa el Chocón, is located 80 km from Neuquén capital. Its tourist village, on the shore of the artificial lake Exequiel Ramos Mejía, comes from the creation of an imposing hydroelectric dam, built in the 70s. This hydroelectric power plant generates electricity for a large part of the country. It is located in an area of depressions in the terrain that make this landscape surprising in each one of its panoramic points (Mirador del Lago, Cañadón Escondido, Represa). Another of the great attractions of the area is the large number of paleontological findings in the area, among which is the Giganotosaurus Carolini, the largest carnivore found so far.
