The ascent to Mount Sibilla is not an excursion like the others: it is a journey in the past, to roots, along a path that links history and legend, more ancient than ever. We will walk on the Mount Zampa ridge, with the Vettore and the valley of Lake Pilato on one side and the vertiginous view on the Gorge of Infernaccio on the other. Of course we will stop at the Cave of Sibilla, already a place of worship in the Piceni and a destination in the Middle Ages of adventurers, knights and necromancers and we will conquer the peak at an altitude of 2173 mt which gives its name to the Sibillini chain. It is not an excursion too demanding, but a workout and a habit of walking are required.

Luca has so much local knowldege and his commentary, in English as well as Italian, made for an exceptional experience. Our tour included a fascinating walk along the marina and into the historic centre, a delicious lunch at a local restaurant that we never would have found on our own and some great coffee bars.

We did the winery tour in May 2019. We had a very enjoyable morning with a very helpful and knowledgeable guide at the winery and a very pleasant and friendly guide for the whole excursion in Luca. The Offida wines are fascinating and we especially liked the varieties which we don't see in Australia, including pecorino. Had a great lunch with Luca at a country restaurant we would never have found by ourselves.

Good overview of the city especially with small children. The English tour on headphones was very difficult to understand because it was read by and Italian with a strong accent. It would have been much better had it been read by an English or American person without an accent.
