Nikšić (Montenegrin Cyrillic: Никшић, pronounced [nîkʃit͡ɕ]) is the second largest city of Montenegro, with a total population of 57,278, located in the west of the country, in the centre of the spacious Nikšić field at the foot of Trebjesa Hill. It is the center of Nikšić Municipality (Population of 75,282), which is the largest municipality by area and second most inhabited after Podgorica. Fun, friendly and knowledgable guides. Amazing locations. Local experiences. What more could you want! I did a 3 day V.I.P tour with Pavle, who was an incredible guided and helped me understand Montenegro like a local. He was a great person to explore with and it felt like we were traveling as friends together, rather than just in a tour group. Active Montenegro is a great agency! I took part in trips organized by them during the summer 2020, when I spent my vacation in Herceg Novi. I took part in rafting and a trip to Dubrovnik. Experienced drivers, comfortable buses, interesting itineraries, and the amazing rafting. The most beautiful views and great skippers! I recommend it to everyone! :)

Komarnica river- Heaven on Earth! Those guides are amazing, and safety for non professional people is on highest level. With them, paesages like canyons of wild rivers became reachable to your eyes and soul. Highly recommend all destinations they offer, as themselves as a guides!

My heart is full of the gratitude for the amazing experience! Pava and Slavko did their best to provide me with the perfectly customized tour. Despite COVID-related restrictions and public holidays (I travelled to Montenegro in this early January) I visited a lot of interesting towns, museums and art galleries. When some place turned out to be closed because of the new restrictions Pava and Slavko would promptly found some other interesting nearby attraction. The culmination came while visiting the Lady of the Rock church. Especially for me Slavko managed to call the only employee and he kindly interrupt his Christmas holiday to provide us with the boat and sail to the island. He opened doors and I couldn't believe my eyes seeing all this rich and beautiful interior. No shortcomings, no regrets, no fail: again, my experiences were only positive.

This is the best thing I did in Montenegro and will satisfy any adrenaline junkie! It was the main reason for visiting this country and I am so glad I did! I started emailing the company about availability before I flew out and each email I sent was responded to quickly with all the information required. Misko and Slobo are fantastic guides. They are extremely experienced and will fill you with confidence! I will remember this day for a long time.....make sure you do it!

Departure from Tivat early in the morning. A short stop above the Boka Bay to witness a beautiful panorama of the Bay. A stop above Slano Lake, an artificial lake created in 1950. My family and I had 9 hours free time in port of Kotor, so we decided to take a further look at Boka Bay. We arranged travel agency by recommendation of our friend who has already visited Montenegro. Driver Marco picked us up in the port, and took us first in beautiful Perast, from where we had a quick boat tour to two small island in the middle of the Bay. Next location was breath taking Porto Montenegro, the new built exclusive place in Tivat. After that we retourned and spend some time in Kotor Old town. That was the best time spent to see more of that amazing county.
