On this tour we are going to visit the Girona coast, christened 100 years ago as the Costa Brava. The name is due to its unique rocky, rugged and cut shape coastline, composed of small coves surrounded by pine forests and lapped by crystal water. Its natural wealth and beauty is apparent in several territories and protected areas, such us Cap de Creus, the Emporda Marshes and the Marine Reserve Medes islands. The fame of Costa Brava is also due to its villages. Small fisherman towns, with whitewashed walls and narrow winding streets, today still retain their charm. In this half day tour we will discover the southern part of the Costa Brava visiting two villages that represent the essence of that coast. They are opposed to each other but, at the same time, complementary, and after few hours after leaving Barcelona, we will go back with a complete idea of what Costa Brava is.

Inclusions: All taxes, fees and handling charges, Live commentary on board, Local guide, Transport by air-conditioned coach with complimentary Wi-Fi, One-way boat ticket from Lloret de Mar to Tossa de Mar.

Exclusions: Food and drinks

This is an excellent full day tour of the Costa Brava plus a stop at a Medieval village dating from the 12th century. The tour is both informative and fully packed. A tour of the Greek and Roman ruins of Empurres was extremely informative and would be of interest to any student of history. A particular shout out of Jorge, our guide, who not only provided excellent commentary but spent time one on one with each member of our tour group. Again, and excellent introduction to the beautiful Costa Brava!

Fantastic park But would not let us take our packed lunches in we had to put in lockers and it was miles to walk to retrieve them + wait in more queues to get out and back in. Also if you have little ones many of the rides required an adult per child on a ride and as we had 3 little ones this was very difficult and disappointing.
