We did a brilliant hike all the way from Longji terraces to Dazhai, which was about 12km. The scenery along the way was spectacular - it varied from rice terraces, to mountains, to forest, to villages. The entire walk was really picture-postcard beautiful. The tour guide Peter really made the experience - he was so friendly, really interesting, very helpful and was willing to keep up with our slightly fast pace without any issue! (Note - the 12km took us just over 4 hours to walk, including a lunch break, which the tour guide said was quicker than people normally do it) The agency were also very helpful and accommodating with the booking. This is a must do to anyone visiting the area!

We started with a visit to the local market where our instructor showed us types of local vegetables tofu fish and meats. One could avoid the live animal section if desired. Vegetarian options were available. The cooking was done in a kitchen above the restaurant - instructor was great, with great English and clear guidance. Food - 4 dishes including dumplings - was delicious!

We loved the whole trip with our great German speaking guide Julia. Just the three off us wandering through the fields and enjoying the magnificent scenery. Another highlight was the lunch prepared for us by a local farmer family, very friendly people and delicious food prepared from fresh ingredients. Overall, a great day out.

Planned for our trip to Guilin this year and decided to book a day tour. Found out about JS Tour from a close friend. It was indeed a very good service from them. We went for the Li River Cruises since it's one of the top destination to visit in Guilin. Overall we are really satisfied with the service.

We got an outstanding help from the hotel represetive, Annie, weeks before the tour. She assisted in all the booking process - payment, car arrangement and all the the rest, and was super nice and informative. The hotel and tour staff were just perfect. They answered all our questions about China in general and Guilin area particularly. It definitely was one of the best adventures in our 3-weeks stay in China. The price worth it, and if you want to have an unforgettable experience, we recommend doing it!

Our 3D2N trips to Guilin are enjoyable with chilling weather and amazing nature sight-seeing. Once we reached the train station, we are picked up by Hotel Transfer service. Our driver cum tour guide Mr. Yang is friendly and very helpful in showing us around the town and tasting the local cuisines. I think we have exceeded our booking hours, but he does not mind to wait for us a little longer. Thumbs up for his good jobs! And the hotel that we have stayed are Secret Courtyard which have clean room and good services. The receptionist Ms. Annie is very resourceful and polite. It takes 3 hours to visit Longsheng Rice Terraces from Guilin or Yangshuo. So you'd better stay overnight in village for more photo oportunities. The hotel of Quanjinglou is the best available there, it is located on the summit of the mountain. Round trip bus transfers between airport, railway station, or hotels in downtown Guilin are included. This is a combination package of airport or railway station pickup, transfers, admission tickets, hotel accommoation. No tour guide service is included. It is designed for camera men.

Not many China Cities has beach, and Shenzhen XiaoMeiSha is not a bad choice which surrounded with many hotels, motels and short stay apartments. Also not far to a sea food street. However the biggest problem is people, many many people. If you heard a chinese phrase "mountain people mountain sea" it is the exact description as you are only seeing people but the not the sand during the peak season. If I am wrong Sheraton has reserved some part of beach as private owned. You may have rather relaxed sun bath and seeing ten thousand of people on the other side publicly.
