We travelled with the AAT Kings 3 day tour to Kakadu and Arnhem Land explorer. It was well worth the occasional bumpy ride in the 4 Wheel drive in Arnhem Land. The guide, Nick, was a mountain of information. The small number of tourists on the trip made for a more interesting visit to this amazing place which took us to rock art paintings, local communities and wonderful landscapes. All expertly explained by our knowledgeable guide.

What an amazing experience we had on this tour with Simon & Rob! From the moment they picked us up in Alice, they were so friendly, accomodating, knowledgeable & fun! My partner & I were travelling with family and Simon & Rob went above and beyond to be inclusive to all the needs of the group (vegetarian, walking arrangements etc). We also had the most wonderful group & really jelled together to make a tour family which made the trip even more incredible. We are only sad that the tour ended so soon, wish we could have stayed longer! Simon & Rob had abundant knowledge on all aspects of the N.T, the food was delicious and plenty, the many experiences such as the campfires & walking tours were incredible and really added to the overall experience. We truly enjoyed our experience & we hope to book a Kakadu tour soon with Simon & Rob ! Thanks again guys :)

What a fantastic day out, packed with adventure. We did the True Territory Tour ,Simon our pilot was accomodating, friendly and full of knowledge. The 30 minute scenic heli flight gave us a perspective of the size of the wet lands, flood plains with Water Buffalo roaming the landscape. Arriving at Corroboree Billabong we were met by Josh who was very knowledgeable and our guide for the 45 minute Airboat Adventure. The first thing we saw boarding the airboat was a crocodile gliding across the water, the flora surrounding the floodplains was spectacular, plenty of Jabiru and a family of wild pigs. Back into the chopper and off to our next stop, Adelaide River for our 1 hour Jumping Crocodile Cruise. We felt like Rock Stars as we helicoptered down into the car park to be greeted by on lookers. Lots of crocodiles lurking in the muddy river, was awesome to see them entertain us during the pole feeding display. Our final scenic flight ended at the Noonamah Tavern for a pub lunch and a coldie. Spectacular day out, great value and you get to see so much from the chopper and if you want a closer look you just drop down lower and see what you want, then off you go again. Saves a heap of driving and you see so much in a short time. Would highly recommend this trip to anyone wanting an awesome day out.

Total disaster. Arrived thismorning with my 22 year old son for trip of a lifetime. Trip promptly cancelled because no-one to greet us at the locked up Kookaburra Air starting point. Had to phone them to see what was happening. Got the weekend duty guy on phone. Think he was in bed. He knew nothing of our booked trip. He called his boss. He confirmed (after I had to call him back as was still in Uber clocking up the $$$) that his boss said “sorry” but they hadn’t received the booking from Viator/Trip advisor. Specifics: Booking was confirmed by email on 13/12 by Trip Advisor. $1780.00 taken from my visa for tour on 30/12. Booking reconfirmed yesterday by text with link to ticket. One day later - kookaburra Air knew naught? Don’t know who is responsible for the human and/or IT error. Regardless, we so so sadly missed out on what sounded like the trip of a lifetime. Cannot even try to do another day because of time constraints. We are so disappointed. Icing on cake. Trip Advisor/Viator have informed me they will not pay for the cost of my Uber to get to the “non-event”. I actually threw the Uber driver $30 cash in his window as he was leaving because he didn’t want to charge us for our trip back from Kookaburra Air to Darwin. On principal I will be chasing trip advisor/Viator down legally if they do not cough up the $31.00 Uber cost which they have said they will not cover.

Started with the Yellow Water Cruise with Mandy at Sunrise. Beautiful way to see Kakadu in the wet season - gorgeous scenery, teaming with wildlife. Worthwhile doing at sunrise, as it was ‘cooler’ without the afternoon sun. It was great listening to Mandy, tell us about the way of life for the local indigenous communities that continue to practice their traditions and culture in this sacred park. The cruise was followed by buffet breakfast and Cooinda Lodge, before departing on a 4WD adventure with Damo (Damien) for the rest of the day. Damo was a fabulous tour guide - friendly, passionate, and respectful of the park and it’s traditional owners. You can tell he loves his job - which is great to see. Damo took us to Nourlangie rock to see traditional rock art, picnic just outside Kakadu, and a nice little waterfall and watering hole, that we had all to ourselves! Perfect place for a dip, and to cool off in the afternoon. Highly recommended.
