The former Saigon boasts charming French colonial architecture and wide boulevards, usually thronged and choked with traffic. Taxis are an option for seeing the sprawling city. The War Remnants Museum shows the Vietnam War through Vietnamese eyes. Don't miss the impressive Jade Emperor Pagoda. Go to the frenetic Ben Thanh Market for food, flowers or frogs. Tour through the Mekong Delta, past rice paddies and houseboats.

We absolutely loved our tour with Kevin! He was an excellent guide -very friendly, and knowledgeable! Our time in Ho Chi Mihn City was limited, so this was the perfect way to spend our evening there! We got to see areas we would likely not have seen on our own as it was very much off the beaten path for a tourist. Kevin did a great job at guiding us and explaining the different dishes, the language, and history of the city. And the food was some of the best we had in Vietnam! I highly recommend this tour - you will not be disappointed!

In the more than 10 years I have been a freelance tour guide, I have met many tourists who eventually became my friends. They have one thing in common - they all are mesmerized by Vietnamese cuisine and fell in love with it. I am also a travelholic and have set my foot in many countries from east to west and experienced various cultures, and got to try different foods where I landed. I can say with confidence and pride that Vietnamese cuisine is one of the most delicious and healthiest in the world. The country’s dishes not only have a distinctive flavor reflecting the wide range of fresh ingredients, they are also easy to make.

Just finished this trip with the wonderful tour guide Demi and her "proprietary IP" pre-made tourbook to answer all our silly questions :-) Really lovely place in the coconut island (Bến Tre) as target, the 8 hour trip was around half speedboating and half walking and listening to local flora and fauna encyclopedia D.M. The actual final destination with a few restaurants with live music show and a sort of mini wildlife reserve is a bit of a touristy place, but in reasonably good taste. Due to our not-so-dear friend Corona it was not that crowded so felt familiar to us small group of nordic country citizens. Looots of fresh fruit were provided by the organizers and eaten, most of it super yummy. At the final venue trying that snake rice wine as well as holding a python were fun times. Lunch was quite good and plentiful with 7 different warm foods. Sad about the rampant littering all around the Mekong delta and near river shores in general, but otherwise it was near perfect as the area has truly beautiful nature. So huge thanks Saigon River Tour and guide Demi for a marvellous day, highly recommended!

Going through the tunnels was so incredible! (Of course, they were made slightly bigger for foreigners, but wow, I emerged with even greater respect for the people who had to endure living and navigating those tunnels during the war.) Also, seeing my 6'4" (1m93cm) tall husband disappear into jungle floor through a secret entrance was just amazing! Our tour guide, Tuấn, was so insightful and told us about his many experiences in the war! Our driver, Hoàng, was great, too, he stopped to give us refreshments along the way, too. If you're in HCMC, you need to come to the Củ Chi tunnels!
