Our vessel required the services of Mars Charters when the steering failed mid voyage in very lumpy seas. The team at Mars Charters swiftly got to our vessel and in an extremely tense situation, stayed calm and did what was required to get us and our vessel safely to Hamilton Island. We cannot thank the team enough for their efforts, professionalism and level headedness. Would not hesitate to recommend these guys as I’m sure what we saw was reflective of all services they provide. If only we had more time on Hamilton Island to use them again for recreation instead of an emergency! Thanks guys!!!! Forever grateful :)

This was a wonderful tour. The boat ride out took about 3 hours and was a little choppy that day. On arrival we saw the wonderful pontoon, what a great setup, in two sections, daytime guests and reef sleep guests. Lots of equipment for guests to use, and lots of sanitisation stations. We were glad wave goodbye to the day guests and enjoyed the reef almost exclusively. It was so beautiful and peaceful. We went snorkeling many times and it was like swimming in an aquarium, so many species of fish, also saw turtles and manta rays. Our chef did an amazing job with the food, wonderfully presented and tasted great. Canapés and sunset on the upper deck was amazing and very romantic. The staff did a great job of looking after us all. It was wonderful to sleep under the stars and our bed was very comfortable. Got up early to see the wonderful sun rise and the reef was very clam and still. Enjoyed to rest of the morning snorkeling and enjoy the company of our fellow guests. This family-run business ticks all the boxes! The day was superbly hosted by Braden whose charming, witty commentary added to the enjoyment of the day. As a recycled chef his skills were apparent at the barbecue on the beach. Delicious! We had folk from other tours eyeing us enviously as the queued up for their own lunch! Skipper Dan was excellent too. He’s been a mariner since he was a boy - and so he’s living his dream. Liz, who picked us up from our caravan park, made a special stop to allow me to get ear plugs - which was greatly appreciated Xpress team - take a bow!

We have traveled a lot, both internationally and domestic. We had the most amazing 2 day experience in our Reef Suite but that is definitely not down playing the Reef Sleep. We could not possibly find anything to complain about if we tried. The staff, food, free drinks, the pontoon, the service and OMG the underwater room. Waitlist to try and and get one. It worked for us.

This trip was the highlight of our Whitsunday holiday! The crew on board were incredibly attentive and focused on making it the best afternoon possible for guests. (Thankyou Tom, Max & Brent) We absolutely loved it! I would highly recommend this to anyone (& we're coming back)!

Today was a 10/10 day with skipper Andrew and the crew of the catamaran “on the edge”. Such lovely service on the boat by the crew. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. Morning tea, water, lunch and afternoon tea were served on board and beers for sale on the way home. We visited beautiful whitehaven beach, the crew found an uncrowded spot for us to anchor with the option to jump off the boat and swim to shore or take the dinghy to the beautiful white beach. The second location was absolutely stunning - snorkeling on the reef. All equipment was supplied, including a stinger suit in case of stingers. On the way back to the marina the crew raised the sails and we attempted to sail to shore. As it was a stunning day with no wind, we floated for a while and were able to take in the beautiful views. We returned to the marina a short time after. You need to take swimmers, a towel, hat and sunscreen. Everything else is supplied. Would book with explore again.
