Golden is the Home Rule Municipality that is the county seat of Jefferson County, Colorado, United States. Golden lies along Clear Creek at the base of the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains. Founded during the Pike's Peak Gold Rush on June 16, 1859, the mining camp was originally named Golden City in honor of Thomas L. Golden. Golden City served as the capital of the provisional Territory of Jefferson from 1860 to 1861, and capital of the official Territory of Colorado from 1862 to 1867. In 1867, the territorial capital was moved about 12 miles (19 km) east to Denver City. The United States Census Bureau estimates that the city population was 18,867 in 2010.

Brad did a great job getting us to our destinations and had a lot of information along the way. There was a shield between the front and back seats for COVID safety. Would recommend Brad but would insist the vehicle be sanitized before the trip.

We’ve now done both of the puzzle rooms at this location and they were both awesome! They use all of the tricks of a great puzzle room, hidden clues, ciphers, light sensitive messages, secret doors. I thought the rocks were particularly clever. (Ha! That gives nothing away!!) puzzlemaster help was fun in that when asked for help his prompts came as clues for the most part. So fun, we’ll have to go to the Lakewood location for more.

My first experience here was with a group of friends, 3 engineers and an accountant. We played the Nightingale Room first and had a very enjoyable and fun time. The puzzles here were hard but not too difficult. We solved it in 59 minutes and 30 seconds! The second time I came here was 6 months later and we played the Strike it Rich Puzzle. We again had a pleasant experience and enjoyed the fun theme and puzzles and finished in 52 minutes. The themes of both rooms are fun and exciting yet solvable and not too abstract. The staff are friendly and only aid you when you ask or if you just happened to input the correct combination into a specific lock wrong. Great experience for the whole family or a group of friends. I would reccomend the Strike it Rich Room over the Nightingale but they are both fun

The Foothills Explorer Tour with Braelei was awesome!! She was a walking wealth of knowledge. Her educational background combined with her life experiences made the tour highly interesting. She knew the history regarding every site we visited. We also recognized how passionate she was when encountering the wildlife. The drive in between visiting landmarks was full of fun. I appreciated the way she captured everyone's attention. Her delivery was also on point. We learned so much during the short 4 hour tour. I could have definitely spent the entire day touring with Braelei. I'm looking forward to visiting Denver and booking another tour/s with her. After spending half a day with her, I realized that we had a similar interests as far as outdoor activities but yet also so different. It should be a requirement to tour with Braelei when visiting Denver. I appreciated every single thing about her especially her personality. My favorite tour guide of all time. She has set that bar on another level. THANK YOU Braelei!!!

Our tour guide Jason was knowledgeable about everything and made us feel comfortable on the ride. If it wasn’t for the tour we would have never visited that many beautiful places around Denver . If you’re staying a short time around Denver this would be your best bet to see a lot of Denver . Well worth it.
