Set between Rome and Naples amid the so-called Ulysses Riviera, gorgeous Gaeta overlooks the beautiful Tyrrhenian Sea. Its history as a resort dates back to Imperial Rome. Nearby sites include the first-century BC mausoleum of general Lucius Munatius Plancus. Its old town is mostly medieval, showcased by narrow alleys, the massive 13th-century castle and the 12th-century Cathedral of Assunta e Sant'Erasmo. For relaxing, lovely and central Serapo Beach is a favored locale.

A lovely half day trip on the sea. The scenario is pretty monotonous but we swam several places and it was a nice trip. We can highly recommend the company, they seemed very serious and the boat was very nice and well maintained.

We will start from the Grotta di Tiberio adorned with numerous sculptures depicting the deeds of Ulysses. We will continue along the ancient Via Flacca (187a.C.). We will admire the medieval towers dating back to the 1500s and wonderful natural caves. We will arrive in Gaeta (LT) and we will admire the "Montagna Spaccata". The show that offers the reserve of the Regional park of Ulisse, is amazing. UNIQUE experience, because I have a regular permit to access it.

For our first tour, we chose the Mini Cruise. It was an hour and a half and included a brief swim call. We had great tour guides and since we are American one of the guides provided our tour in English. Everything we saw from the water was breathtaking. Our favorite part of the tour was the swim call by the cave. We anchored close enough to dive and swim and explore the entrance to the cave. They were attentive to everyone's needs and made sure we were aware of the unseen rocks in the middle of the opening. They were great with my 10-year-old, allowing him to dive off and climb up and just enjoy his first experience. The only thing I wish to make clear for anyone interested, we prepaid online to save time (and they knew who we were on arrival which was awesome). Using the address given, if you arrive by car you will arrive at a dead-end that houses several parking areas and a restaurant. We chose to park near the restaurant and use the parking meter. You then have to go up some steps towards the beach and walk along the beach towards the marina or "port". It was a 10-15 min walk (depending on how distracted you are by the beautiful beach) It's very easy to find. There is a cafe where you can get coffee, smoothies and pastries while you wait for your tour. Some of the travelers were spending the day on the beach and decided to take a tour. This is something we will definitely consider for our next trip. We had a wonderful time and are already planning our return trip for a longer tour with lunch included. If you've never done a boat trip before or prefer a simple relaxing trip definitely check them out.

This tour is for "outside" the usual touristic areas. The Abbey of Montecassino is one of the most famous Abbeys in the world. In 529 Saint Benedict chose this mountain to build his monastery. In February the Abbey 1944 a bombardment almost flatted it. According to a legend, the temple of Jerusalem has been found to cause three deep cracks in the rock of today. On the top of this promontory stands the Sanctuary of the SS. Trinity. At the left side of the church, linked to other stories and relevant personalities, linked to other stories and relevant personalities. The temple, or Roman sanctuary, above Terracina dates back to the fourth century BC. The complex is large and spectacularly-situated, dominating the shoreline and sea. The sanctuary has been assumed to have been dedicated to Jupiter, although Venus has been another suggestion.
Inclusions: Pick-up and drop off with luxury transportation and private chauffeur, Private English-speaking tour escort at your disposal, Entrance tickets to the Temple of Jupiter Anxur in Terracina, Visit at Montecassino Abbey and Visit at Polish cemetery, Visit to the "broken mountain" and the Turkish Grotto in Gaeta, Visit at Temple of Jupites Anxur in Terracina, Lunch (fixed menu)

We wished we could see Pope Francis but we could never expected we could see him so closely thanks to Rossana great effort. Rossana and our driver Luigi are both great persons and the visit to the Pope very well organized. They both were professional, supportive, engaging and very helpful. Rossana took really a great effort to make the visit tailored to our needs and she had great sense of humour. Big thanks to R and L. We would highly recommend this tour.
As the sun sets over western beaches a cool breeze rises and the waters of the gulf turn blue like sugar paper, this is the most incredible time to hoist the anchor and begin our tour that runs along the medieval city after a tour in the gulf we will stop in a small and exclusive landing place that welcomes you to offer you a dinner aperitif with local dishes on the lawn near the sea, or by boat and while the sky turns red we prepare to return, but the magic has just begun ... the city lights up the street lamps and the city slowly lights up with a thousand colors reflected in the sea, and so begins another summer evening with its noise, its alleys and its discos that offer unforgettable moments. Three hours really intense and exciting
Inclusions: Bevande, Buffet dinner, Tour per piccoli gruppi, Bottled water, Coffee and/or Tea, Alcoholic Beverages
Exclusions: Hotel pickup and drop-off
Today we went out with Fabio from Oltremare Charter to visit the stunning coastline in and around Gaeta. Fabio was very kind and knowledgeable, he would tell us about all the important sights and monuments that we passed along our trip. The boat may seem small at first but it actually was spacious for all four of us.
