There are great covid restrictions in place, its a one way system round and lots of hand sanitising areas. It felt safe and not overcrowded. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Originally first opened in 1872 making it the World's oldest aquarium, this is a great place to visit whatever your age, solo, as a couple or as a family to spend some time learning about all the different species of fish & marine life, the staff are friendly & very knowledgeable to ask any questions you may have, there is a small cafe for refreshments & a souvenir shop to browse around & purchase various keepsakes. You must book a timeslot online prior to arrival, then have your temperature taken before being allowed entry, I booked a 2.15 pm visit not realising that they now close at 3pm which is why I never got to see the boat that several people have mentioned, nor sharks swimming over my head as some areas were closed off, the overhead tunnel I was really looking forward to as that was the main reason I booked as it sounded amazing, that's probably why I got around it all in less than an hour, I can't wait to return once life returns back to normal or in season when everything will be in full swing.

Pleasurewood Hills is all a bit tired and run down. But more importantly not that safe. My daughter and partner got stuck up the top of the rollercoaster with smoke pouring out and it took 20 mins to get them down ( after an hours queue). They are now saying it wasn’t an accident and refusing to refund us. A completely sham.

7. Lavenham: Discover the Tudor side of life on this medieval audio walking tour

40 Church St, Lavenham, Sudbury CO10 9SA, UK VoiceMap London

This is THE walk for those people who have always wanted to walk along enough medieval streets to make up a whole medieval village. Maybe your interest in old timbered buildings was awakened by Tolkien or Harry Potter? Every street leads to the Market Square and every street has timbered houses along the route. It is one of those places that you visit once and then fall in love with. Even on the bleakest of days, there are people looking around the streets. Having been brought up in the area I have collected various stories about these buildings. Here I share such stories in an audio tour. This is a tour where the Tudor wool traders start to be more than words in a book. The Dukes of Oxford (the De Vere family) and the wealthiest commoners in England rubbed shoulders in these streets 900 years ago. We seek out the clues that they left behind over the centuries to get a glimpse into their lives.

Inclusions: Lifetime access to this tour in English, VoiceMap App for Android and iOS, Offline access to audio, maps, and geodata

Exclusions: Smartphone and headphones, Transportation, Food and drink, Tickets or entrance fees to any museums or other attractions en route

Once downloaded it appeared to start at a set time...why?? We downloaded in advanced so missed half an hour before we started. My wife had trouble with hers cutting out and after a short while gave up. I found it hard to set up and would not call it user friendly. If there was a way to go back to the start I certainly couldn't find it.

8. Christmas Wreath Workshop - hosted in a thatched coastal cottage

62 Beach Rd, Sea Palling, Norwich NR12 0UH, UK Laetitia Webb

There are lots of Christmas Wreath workshops to choose from in Norfolk but many cater for groups of 10-25 giving you very little 1-2-1 time to learn and relax. I limit capacity to just 4 guests and make your experience my priority - there's no "keeping up" I relax at your pace and guide you step by step. You will be hosted in a beautiful warm thatched cottage, thatched by a local Master Thatcher! Under the oak beams we will relax to sip our hot chocolate and create our wreaths with a little seasonal music to get us in the mood. The cottage will be fully dressed for Christmas and I am happy for you to take as many photos as you would like, it's often described as a chocolate box cottage on the coast! Why not enjoy a visit to our award winning beach just seconds away from the cottage, or a walk to the local seal colony or medieval barn, it's a beautiful part of the country to explore. If you would like to book lunch/dinner nearby I am happy to make recommendations.

Inclusions: Coffee and/or Tea, Snacks, All wreath materials and dressing, and tools (cutters, wire, ring etc) and an apron.

Exclusions: Private transportation

Our flight was piloted by Chris. He was very informative and polite and took us over the Isle of White, the beach, Weymouth. The actual experience was AMAZING!! Everywhere we went he told us about it and the experience itself was amazing. I highly recommend this as it is definitely an experience you will never forget, one reason for that is that he handed me the controls and I FLEW THE PLANE! Everything was nice, chilled, very safe and easy. Overall, couldn't have been better ????
