My wife and I met Cecile, our expert guide and photography mentor, in the Alfama area of Lisbon. We sat down and went over the basics of my experience, and they are basic, and what I wanted to learn. We then proceeded to walk for the next four hours through beautiful neighborhoods with great photography opportunities. She helped me understand how to compose city shots, along with the most important facets of the camera settings that will give the best results for artistic photos. I will use Aperture again. Cecile was great, the experience was great.
Climb the Torre, the highest point of Continental Portugal with 1993 meters high. The Serra da Estrela is one of the few Portuguese regions blessed with snowfall, and is covered every year with an extensive white mantle in the height of winter and the only ski resort in the country. The lowest temperatures in Portugal are usually recorded at the summit of Serra da Estrela, with minimum temperatures occasionally reaching -20 ° C in winter. Here you can rent your equipment and try one of the different slopes and try not to fall !!

Diana @ Ride For You was an amazing guide and she is the main reason our trip turned out to be so wonderful. We are a family with 2 small children (2.5yrs and 5 months) and she completely took care of us - from helping with children, to explaining the sights, driving us to different parts of the area, being super flexible and helpful, great English language skills, recommending what is best for us, etc. Highly recommended! Thank you Diana, from Ivan, Maja and family :)
Discover the largest mountain range in Portugal on this full-day tour of the Serra da Estrela. We will go to the foot of the Serra da Estrela, where you will find panoramic views and breathtaking landscapes. We will see flocks of sheep in their natural pasture, sheep from which milk for the famous Queijo da Serra, for many the best cheese in the world. It will also be natural to see herds of goats, animals also widely used in the region's gastronomy We will also see some dogs of the Serra da Estrela breed, a very robust shepherd dog of great beauty, is used to living in the meteorological adversity of Serra da Estrela. We will also make a stop at the highest inhabited location in Portugal, the village of Sabugueiro. Then, we will go to the highest point of mainland Portugal, the Tower. We took a full day tour with Ptsensations. Pedro was so amazing and accommodating. He had a perfect day planned for us. We went to Pena palace first and Pedro had tips for us to have a great experience. Then we went to the western most point in Europe which was so beautiful. Then off to Cascais with lot of information in between about history and cool facts. We had lunch in Cascais and saw beautiful beaches. Because we had some time left, he even took us to Belém to get us some pastries. His vehicle was clean, air conditioned and he had wifi and chargers for us to charge our phones. It was a hot day and he had wAter for us. Overall it was an amazing day with a great guide. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a tour in Portugal

We had exception service on our transfer tour from Porto to Lisbon. Punctual pickup from our hotel. Coimbra, Fatima and Tomar were our stops. Highly recommend Tomar. No tourists and it felt like a person experience. Coimbra - DescriptionCoimbra, a riverfront city in central Portugal and the country’s former capital, is home to a preserved medieval old town and the historic University of Coimbra. Built on the grounds of a former palace, the university is famed for its baroque library, the Biblioteca Joanina, and its 18th-century bell tower. In the city’s old town lies the 12th-century Romanesque cathedral Sé Velha. Fatima - DescriptionFátima is a central Portuguese town that's home to the Sanctuary of Fátima, a Catholic pilgrimage site. The Capelinha das Aparições marks the spot where the Virgin Mary allegedly appeared in 1917. Other sacred sites include the Basílica de Nossa Senhora do Rosário, with its golden angels, and the modern church of Igreja da Santíssima Trindade. The Museu de Arte Sacra e Etnologia exhibits religious artifacts. Tomar - The Convent of Christ (Portuguese: Convento de Cristo/Mosteiro de Cristo) is a former Roman Catholic convent in Tomar, Portugal. Originally a 12th-century Templar stronghold, when the order was dissolved in the 14th century the Portuguese branch was turned into the Knights of the Order of Christ, that later supported Portugal's maritime discoveries of the 15th century. The convent and castle complex is a historic and cultural monument and was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1983.
