See the attractions outside Copenhagen. The only tour that not only includes the royal castles but also visits the former capital, Roskilde. You see a lot more than on the other tours. You also get a more personal experience because we operate in small groups of 16 people or less. Knowledgeable and English speaking guide.
Inclusions: Hotel pickup and drop-off from hotels in the center of Copenhagen, Transport by air-conditioned minivan, Small group size (no more than 16 people - usually less), English speaking and knowledgeable guide
Exclusions: You pay for what you order at a nice local café, In the months November to March - It will solely be a photostop outside the Roskilde Cathedral
Having said that we booked the "Group Option", there was only myself and my wife on the bus, so we had our guide Svend all to ourselves. Collection was from our hotel in a smart 16 seater minibus and we set off to Roskilde for visits to the Cathedral (where all the Kings & Queens are buried) and then to the Viking Ship museum. We particularly enjoyed the ship museum and if you are planning a private tour would suggest you make sure enough time is spent here. Then it is off to Hillerod and after lunch in the town a walk around Fredriksborg Castle. - If you want to see all the castle and walk round the gardens you need to get a move on. Your guide will almost certainly recommend you include the Castle Chapel on your tour. Back on the bus and off to the final stop at Kronborg Castle in Helsingborg. An interesting tour round the inside with a mock performance of part of Hamlet, followed by a walk onto the ramparts with views of Sweden. It's a lot to fit into a single day and your guide does have to keep you moving, so you don't always get as long as you want at each location.

Really interesting walk around Nørrebro. if you've already done the major sights and want something different then this gives you an insight into another side of Copenhagen. I'd never really been to that part of the city but we now have plenty of bars cafe and boutiques to return to.
Enjoy a beautiful boat trip on Bagsværd Lake 20 km north of Copenhagen. Sail with the old wooden boats some dating back from 1896 and experience the bustling atmosphere on the lake. You can stay on the boat for the entire round trip or hop off at one of the stops along the way to enjoy the scenery.

In general a very nice boat trip, with a host that gave good information and tried to engage the passengers in his story. The guide Teddy gave information in Danish and English. We had to focus very well on what he was saying, because he had quite a strong Danish accent, but we could understand him nonetheless. Sometimes he seemed to give a bit more information in Danish though, so it seemed like we (not understanding Danish) sometimes missed some of the info he gave which was unfortunate. Would recommend if you’re looking for a nice and relaxing boat tour that shows you some important, fun and characterizing aspects of Copenhagen. Always nice to explore a city from the water!
