we visited only one Rass winery, and in the review it was announced that we would visit 3 wineries. I do not like this. It made a bad impression on me that when we arrived at the Rass winery we were greeted with the finding that they had already closed for tourists today, but as a compromise they would take the trouble to open for us. The winery was not typical of Provence. There are also better wineries in the area, I expected more ...

The descent by the river in the Canyon du Verdon offers an unusual panorama of this site out of the ordinary. Because of the verticality, the walker does not reach the areas we are going to discover, and the descent requires specific support both for security reasons (siphons), and avoid trampling protected areas (presence of many species endemic on the site, which makes all its richness).

Inclusions: Private transportation, 5mm neoprene suits, lifejackets and helmets to the standards in force.

After fitting out at the base, our driver drops us off at the start of each route and picks us up on arrival. Before boarding, the guide teaches you how to maneuver your boat, face different scenarios on the river and what to do in case of "desalting" Several routes are offered; - Castellane-Pont de Soleils The start is behind the Castellane swimming pool. An evolutionary course that will allow everyone to learn the discipline before competing against the rapids of Porte Saint-Jean… - Sublime Suns-Point Bridge Superb course which can be done until the beginning of July, when the dam is closed. The low water flow then requires single-seat navigation. - In spring, when the water level allows, we also sail on the marvelous Haut Verdon course.

Inclusions: Wetsuit, life jacket, helmet and paddle, Private transportation

It's a bit late to write this review since we have taken this trip in June 2019 but it does not seem fair to not write about this trip. It was an exceptional day... exceptional experience. This trip was the highlight of our Nice trip. Our guide, Karen, was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. There are few things which made this trip unforgettable ... 1. The pick up and drop off : The pick up was on time and so was the drop of. So, if someone has other plans, they can easily pursue that. 2. Karen ( of course ) : She is an absolute gem. She is very friendly, helpful which is why we never felt like we were on a trip with tour guide rather we felt like we were bunch of friends .. enjoying our day in sun... in a road trip along french riviera and the medieval villages of Nice. The tour was very detailed and full of information. She explained the history of Nice, the history of the medieval villages, the distinct character of each villages. She is very knowledgeable and trust me when I say 'Knowledgeable' as she studied anthropology .. so all of these are basically her forté. The most important part is.. she never force the information on you.. she makes a friendly conversation and if you are paying attention, you will know lot of things. She was very attentive to all the details like where we can get good food, where we can have water or refill our bottles etc as these things are very important for such a long duration trip. 3. The itinerary : The itinerary is the another thing, which in my opinion, is a key point to make this trip outstanding. The places, which are included in this trip, are near to each other and all are in same direction. It would give you more time to the actual destinations then on the road. I would highly recommend this tour. When I think back, this trip still puts up a smile in my face. Thank you Bingo Tour for such an excellent trip...day...memory !

The tour guide Parfait picked us from our hotel. He was very friendly. He stopped at some cool view points and even helped with taking photos. He also shared his knowledge with us about the history behind the places we visited including Chanel. We were on time for the change of guards at palais princier which was very nice. I would have liked some point in Eze to visit the garden. Also it was a shame that the F1 circuit was only opened to bicycles, therefore missed out on this. Overall I would highly recommend this tour.

What a wonderful day trip from Toulon and our cruise ship. Sasha from Toursbylocals was supurb! Cannot say enough about this great day excursion. We had a wonderful day driving first to Aix-en-Provence- just a lovely French town (for a quick, buttery croissant & coffee) and onto Cassis a pleasant fishing village by the sea. Sasha led us to a delicious seaside lunch spot where mussels & fries were the local specialties. Cassis was a fun town to walk around and view the locals enjoying their Sunday at the shore. We then drove to the highest scenic road to a fantastic view of the city and area. Sasha knew so much about the sites and the area. Though we learned about the Calanques, we did not have time for a boat ride to visit the spot but learned about these very special and unique places. Everyone loved Sasha as our guide and this special day excursion.
