Join a micro-group of just 8 guests for a relaxing, rewarding and stimulating tour full of scenic diversity. Birds eye views of cities, vast farmland, famous wine regions, extinct volcanoes, coastal icons, shipwrecks, rainforests and winding cliff top roads. Add to this some great food and wine and small group of like-minded travellers and you have a very memorable 3 days. The itinerary has been carefully planned so that you will take in many different experiences while keeping the schedule at a comfortable and relaxed pace. The first part of this tour through farmland on route to Naracoorte Caves and the Coonawarra wine region is less visually spectacular and is therefore done at a faster pace to allow more time on the Great Ocean Road. Traveling in a small group of no more than 8 people will also allow you more time at places and a more personalised experience.
Inclusions: 2 nights accommodation, Breakfast, Breakfast, Dinner, Dinner, National Park fees, Wine tasting, Live commentary on board, Hotel pickup and drop-off, Transport by air-conditioned minivan
Exclusions: Lunch, Alcoholic drinks (available to purchase)
My friend and I booked this 2 day trip to Daylesford as an impromptu addition to a weekend in Melbourne. It was just the two of us, and our guide, Jurgon, tailored the trip as we went to suit us as he got to know us. Jurgon was a charming, thoughtful and knowledgeable guide. We enjoyed two “hatted” dining experiences in the one day and over the weekend a mix of landscapes, history, cider tasting mixed with some interesting local artisan shops and experiences. By the time Jurgon left us at the airport we felt like old friends. Both of us agreed we’d do it all again in an instant.

Hiring a motorcycle for a self guided tour on Victoria's Great Ocean Road is both exhilarating and spectacular. Visit secluded beaches and wind through roads with tall gumtree's and deep steep valleys taking your journey deep into your soul. Our classic styled retro motorcycles are designed to deliver a pleasant experience with styling reminiscent of the 1970's. Cool classic lines and color's allow you to ride into small towns and grab a latte or local artisan food and enjoy the wonders that are abundant in this part of the world. 73MOTO doesn't just hire motorcycles, we create encounters, we tell a story and we let you write the next chapter in The Book of The Open Road

We were keen to hire motorcycles but due to the current lock down restrictions, we were not able but they were generous enough to advise of the commitment vouchers they had which offered discounted rentals to use within 12 months of purchase. We look forward to this trip

I did the 1 day tour. The great ocean road is an absolute must, but probably more justified to see it over 2 days. I just didn’t quite have the time to be able to do that. I liked the fact that this company specialise specifically for the great ocean road and the guide actually lives on the great ocean road. The week before I had chosen to do a winery tour with a different company, who sell tours to multiple destinations. That was not so good and the guide’s knowledge of the local area was severely lacking. I’ll stick with the destination specialists next time. Much better.

We had a great day with this company. Pre-tour, we dealt with James whose communication was immediate and thorough. He gave his honest option on car sickness, which was very accurate. Thankfully his recommendation of what to do worked out well and I got through it in one piece. Word to the wise, you do spend a lot of time in the car on the one day tour so car sickness might be a problem for some people. If this sounds like you and you have the additional day up your sleeve, best to pick their 2 day option. Alas, we only had one day, so we had to bite the bullet. On the day, Aaron was our guide. We got some incredible snaps, as he had a great talent for getting us to great picture spots when there wouldn’t be a lot of people there. I’m not sure if this was by accident or on purpose, but I expect the latter. He was also very knowledgeable about the local flora and fauna and we got to meet his wife en-route and she came out of her house beside the road, to wave to us and to give Aaron his work packed lunch for the day. It was nice to know we were being driven around by a real local. And because he was local, he really did seem to deliver us to some delightfully quiet but equally picturesque spots along the way.

Great day touring the Yarra Valley wineries. One of the best tours I’ve been on! Paul was incredible, so funny and considerate, he knew all the best tips to really give us an amazing experience. Wildlife park was so fun, with the cutest wallabies and kangaroos happy to eat from our hands! The views throughout were also stunning, but my favourite thing was definitely seeing the Penguins at the end of the night! The cutest little things, they waddled along together to the hills, was surprised by how many there were! Cannot recommend this tour enough, thank you Paul!

It's one thing to go to an amazing place of natural beauty and Wilson's Prom NP certainly packs a punch and ticks that box with great hiking trails, beautiful vistas, green valleys, sandy and secluded beaches, and lots of wildlife. But to go there with a tour that manages to squeeze all that in one day without making you feel exhausted so you can truly appreciate your visit takes a real expert 9adn that's where Hike and Seek tick all the boxes!). Special thanks to the tour guide Michael, who could answer any queries and engaged with all participants to make us feel part of the team. It is a long day (and more so for the tour guides) as the drive to Wilson's Prom is almost 3 hours each way from Melbourne so make sure you have a book with you (you will have your own light and air condition vent in the minibus!) or download earlier some good podcasts to watch (you will travel through places with no or poor internet access so be prepared).
