We did this tour in February 2020. We originally scheduled it for the 10th but one of our party took unwell and Kel went out of his way to help rearrange our tour for the 13th, once our group were fully fit. Kel and Mel were great hosts, sharing a lot of information and making us feel very welcome. By the end of the tour, I felt I'd seen a lot, had a great afternoon out and had made two new friends. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Melbourne.

View was spectacular! If you want to see Melbourne in a different way, like 1500ft above, this helicopter ride is highly recommended. There was only 2 of us when we had the tour, so its like we have our own private helicopter to see Melbourne's CBD and shore line! Do not hesitate to try it! You should book now.

Andrew picked us up from home, provided all the gear and took us on an amazing ride out to Victoria’s beautiful Yarra Valley. We cruised out on the open roads for about an hour, stopped for some photos, then he dropped us off at Yering Station winery for lunch. We felt 100% safe and it was great fun! Thanks Andrew, we will recommend you and your company to all of our friends and family ????????

Woke up at 3am in a cold 4 degrees celcius, left home at 4am to meeting point at Yarra Glen at about 5.30am, @globalballooningaustralia took flight at about 7am producing about an hour of awesomeness.
We were fortunate to have a smaller basket which meant it was a private group accompanied by super friendly and fun pilot Georgia (Scarlet on the ground, standing by for our go-by-ear-landing site).
The lift to 2000ft was smoothly executed, a little bit of rough landing in the end (expected and thrilling).
We saw the city skyline, wild kangaroos, a fast running rabbit, Yarra River that runs through the city, Sugarloaf Reservoir that supplies 30% of our water.
Ended the hot air ballooning experience with a beautiful Champagne breakfast at Balgownie Estate as part of the package.

Could not have been a better experience. Super professional, welcoming and friendly team. Pilot Phil was very affable and even joked about the fact that ours was only his second flight (in reality he had close to 600)... the look on my cousins face was priceless. Everything was explained clearly and with a calm demeanour and all went smoothly. I guess it helps that Melbourne is a beautiful city and the weather was gorgeous. Cant recommend this experience highly enough

A full day of Sport & Beer, it doesn't get better than that! Visit the venues that host some of Australia's favourite sporting events. We’ll visit Flemington Racecourse, home of the Melbourne Cup "the race that stops the nation", pass by the Commonwealth Games 2006 Village and drive around the Melbourne Formula 1 Grand Prix Circuit. Then go behind the scenes of the MCG. Enjoy lunch and then experience a small, independant brewery.
Inclusions: Visit to Flemington Racecourse, Albert Park Grand Prix Track, Lunch with a drink, Craft Brewery with tastings, Tour behind-the-scenes of The Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), Hotel pickup and drop-off
Exclusions: Gratuities
As I work in the racing industry, my work colleagues were very jealous that I got a tour of Flemington racecourse. Driving round the Formula 1 GP track and visiting the MCG made my day. The only drawback was that the main courts at the Rod Laver arena were closed off due to the fact that the Australian Open had just finished the previous weekend.

Our guide Tamara was a wealth of information about all the sports venues we went to and provided information that was of great value. We were a small group and we had a fantastic time when we visited F1 Circuit, Flemington Racecourse & MCG were I was able to go into the change rooms of the Mighty Tigers. Lunch was provided at a nice cafe in Richmond and the tour finished at a Craft brewery in Sth Melbourne. All in all a great day had by all, thank you Tamara and your team.

Our cruise ended in Melbourne and we had decided to stay there for a few days along with 3 other couples we were traveling with. Friends of ours had recommended Melbourne Private Tours and we are so glad they did. We booked 2 tours with them. The first was a city tour for the day we arrived. Dylan was our guide and he was terrific! He is very knowledgeable, has a great sense of humor and made for a very fun day. We went to the Botanic Gardens and Shrine of Remembrance, cottages on the beach and saw lots of street art. Dylan also made sure we had plenty of time to explore the market. When we booked the tour we asked if it could include Jewish sites but since it was Saturday we were told we would only be able to see them from the outside. But Dylan and MPT went the extra mile and made arrangements with the synagogue so that we could visit towards the end of services. The synagogue was beautiful and the Rabbi and congregation were so welcoming and we were so moved, it is the most memorable experience of our trip. The next day we did the Great Ocean Road tour to the 12 Apostles. It was a 13 hour day and it was terrific. Our guide for this tour was Neil and he was great. He took us all along the coastal road where we saw amazing views and lots of surfers. We stopped at a wonderful coffee shop with delicious pastries. But I recommend not eating too much at the coffee shop because you don’t want to spoil your appetite for the fabulous lunch that comes a few hours later. Lunch was family style and the food was ready when we got there. It was so good we asked to meet the chef so that we could applaud him and his wonderful staff. Along the way Neil stopped at a few different locations so that we could see kangaroo, koalas and birds up close in the wild. Neil got a crimson rosella to sit on my husband’s hand and we got great pictures of a kookaburra. The 12 Apostles and Loch Ard Gorge were amazingly beautiful and as an extra treat we saw an Echidna in the bushes. We had a fabulous time.
