The state of Rajasthan in northwestern India includes part of the Thar Desert, as well as Ranthambhor National Park, home to wild tigers, and verdant Mount Abu and its elaborate temples. A camel safari near the inhabited desert trading center of Jaisalmer gives a hint of the area's beautiful desolation. Udaipur's lakefront setting provides rich counterpoint. The capital of Jaipur is a shopper's dream. Hire a car and driver to take in the spread-out sights. Stay in a heritage hotel to feel like a maharaja.

Had a great stay at Jai Villa. The host Dev is extremely hospitable and was always a shout out away. Very clean place, great breakfasts and helpful support stuff Kamlesh as well for any quick help. The rooms have an amazing mountain view and you get a view of both the sunrise and sunset from the terrace. We went with our parents. Would definitely recommend this place if you are visiting Udaipur with your family

Situated just 03-04 minutes away from India’s most fascinating National Park – known as the Land of Indian Wildlife. Sawai vilas Ranthambhore is a gorgeous family run hotel. Priding itself in its popularity for presenting the best of both worlds – genteel, comfortable hospitality amidst complete wilderness.

Previously Hotel Shanti Home (Jaisalmer) was an private residence of Brahmin family and the building & structure is about 450 years old, located in old city of Jaisalmer just underneath the Fort. But a few years back building was totally renovated and converted into a nice budget Hotel. It took about Four years to develop this heritage house as hotel. Now we have all together seven lovely rooms all decorated with traditional JAISALMERI TEPASTRIES, Lovely images of town and few old bronze vessels belonging to the family. All the rooms have ensuite bathrooms with western toilet and hot & cold shower facility.
Our room was up a little stairway. If you cannot do stairs, do not stay here. Our room was very historical. Wifi in the comon area. Hot water. The windows on our room were just wood shutters. The staff was wonderful and helpful. Shopping inside the fort is awesome.

I would not have given even one star due to pathetic experience we as a family had there at alankrita homestay..we had stayed there for a month and had very bad experience..we moved after after finalizing agreed terms on rental with kitchen but suddenly out of blue owners were bringing the same negotiation which we already done due to greed to accommodate us on lower floors and then move to terrace which is only room with kitchen..we opted for a room with kitchen bcs of our kid and settled downstairs for some days and then move to terrace on certain date but owners had broken their agreed terms and asking us to stay downstairs for somemore days and had heated arguments where I clearly told to keep their word and promise to us..but owners made us stay down for few more days.. Even their guy Sunil misbehaved with us that too in drunken state..it was horrified to see someone shouting and drunk.. They kept some hooligans on terrace on new year eve when we were compromising downstairs..those so called hooligans were smashing the terrace whole night till morning on new year night and spoiler our day and night..again due to GREEDINESS of owners..where they did not set any time for new year party plus never stop them.. They did not provide the services properly like they gave us bedsheets with holes twice and their guy SUNIl never behaved properly and disobeyed us saying "ask owners not me..you have paid to then not me..".. Even owners charged and chested is with electricity bill rate and charged double from us at 12 rupees per unit which was a clear loot from guest stayed separately on terrace..even asking them made them furious as if our ask was incorrect and started shouting and left the premises on a very very bad and pathetic note..

Situated in 3 Acres of Guava Plantation with view of Ranthambhore National Park
We were very friendly received by Desh in his nature farm. Rooms were big, comfortable, and clean. We had personal contact with the owners who went out of their way to make us enjoy our stay which we did. Feel like home! Very close to the Ranthambore Park and our tours into the park were well organised! We saw many tigers. Chef and personal cooked us the best pure food we had in India, very tasteful. The garden was peaceful and serene.

Stay away from this home-stay. We checked in last week and checked out in less than 24 hours. Tacky, smelly, filthy, neglected. We had told the owner that we would be around for lunch after landing but there was none, only soggy sandwiches. What more, the place is in a rather inaccessible location. NO tuk-tuks spotted except some distance away.

The hotel is nice, got the room as shown in the pictures. The hotel service is also prompt. It is located at 1-2 kms from Havamahal, hence we haven't found any difficulty in traveling the city attractions. There are food stalls, local market and food stalls nearby, so the entire stay is wonderful. We will definitely choose this hotel again if visited again in Jaipur.
