The Art Nouveau style, the garden that surrounds the house and the carefully furnished interiors make this b&b in Marghera one of the most splendid villas in the area.
A lovely gem of a hotel. Loved staying here and would not hesitate to return. Lovely big ceilings, sparkling clean rooms & bathrooms and a filling breakfast. We were checked in by the nicest gentleman who spoke excellent English but was prepared to talk to me in my pathetic Italiano. The rooms have a kettle, teas, coffee and biscuits etc. A mere 4 minute max walk to station if you are walking slowly. The trains to Venice are very frequent and cost less than €2.00 Big tip: when you come to the hotel by train you will come into Mestre station. whatever you do, don’t go up the stairs to exit rather follow the signs towards “Ulloa”. We went out the upstairs exit and got really lost. We crossed over but That side of the train tracks is to be absolutely avoided! So when you arrive at the station stay down below. Once you come up the ramp to the street the hotel is on your left hand side around 150 metres. If that gate is shut then turn left at the corner and you will have the front of the hotel on your left just a few metres away.

We enjoyed this well cared for estate. Located close to town, still need a car but the ground were well maintained and loved. Nice large rooms, quiet, very clean and simple. The restaurant was closed the night we were there, but we got to enjoy watching a wedding on the grounds below. Staff speaks a little english but enough to be of good service.

Hotel is in a perfect location near to the beach, short walk to vaporetto and Gran Vialle also close to local restaurants and bars in the area. It is on the side of a canal, very peaceful. We were in Audrey Hepburn room with a balcony, large room, fantastic shower and very comfortable bed. There was a little fridge in the room to keep our water/drinks cool. Hotel and room were scrupulously clean. It is simply furnished but perfect for a city stay and it always smelt lovely when we cam back. Very friendly. Would stay again.

There is only one place where the magic of Venice and the poetry of nature intertwine ... VILLA SACCHETTA : all the luxury of an exclusive villa in the enchantment of the Venice Lagoon A hidden jewel between the islands and the lagoon Surrounded by a magical panorama and a unique natural environment – that of the very ancient fish farms of the Venice Lagoon - Villa Sacchetta is an exclusive villa thought out for those who desire to discover and experience with the utmost discretion a distinct Venice, enjoying a convenient, yet secluded location and at the same time remaining in the background of the marvelous wonders of the city. In June 2010 Villa Sacchetta opens its doors revealing the beauty of a luxurious and sophisticated haven peacefully surrounded by silence offering every kind of modern comforts and services 12 months a year. A new kind of vacation is now possible In a pollution free marine ecosystem as that of the Venetian fish farms, that have been unaltered since the days of the Serenissma, Villa Sacchetta offers the privilege to enjoy a purely private stay within a natural envirnoment unknown to many and now accessible to an elite group of guests. The desire to capture a unique holiday opportunity, as well as sensitivity to perceive the value of this special corner in the lagoon, still unexplored and immune to mass tourism, are the only requirements requested to appreciate the extraordinary nature of this lagoon residence, first of a kind and unique in its gender and available to guests worldwide. Living in a fish farm : a unique experience Extensive hunting and fishing are activities traditionally practiced in the fish farms since the sixteenth century : amongst the islands, lakes, dams and canals, it seems that time has stopped in this corner of the lagoon. A large population of fishermen, boat and water connoisseurs dedicated to hunting and fishing have been living here for centuries in harmony with the environment. It is a fantasy like microcosm that pulsates around Villa Sacchetta, surrounded by the vegetation of nature and the sea, overlooking two of the thirty fish farms in Venice : the Sacchetta and the Sacchettina fish farms. Arriving to Villa Sacchetta, by land or by sea, it seems like you are being catapulted into one of Canaletto’s paintings : the soft amber light of the sunset caressing the still water and the view that extends from Burano to Saint Erasmo towards infinity revealing the magic of an unusual Venice far from the noise and fanfare. It is right in these Venetian fish farms that we are able to captivate the bond between Venice and the water : the sea is the so called “road” in which the Serenissima extracted its wealth, trade, conquest and glory from; the sea is the “cushion” on which one lays its head on ( like a sort of forest of upside down tree trunks) the lavish Venetian palaces ... in short, the element in which the myth of Venice would not exist. One can hear the music of the swans, cormorants, herons, gulls and the pink flamingos along the fish farms at sunset, that peek throught the reeds, rummaging among the tamarisk trees and hide among the branches of willows and poplars waiting to catch their prey. There are several equipped ponds for extensive fish farming along the riverbank, which marks the border between the fish farm and the lagoon. The so called “lavorieri” which regulate the inflow and outflow of water, located at the main entrance, cross the river that follows into a set path which bond the fish to be caught. The “Cason di valle”, that is the fishermen’s home, process and preserve fish and provide shelter for the boats and the gear. In every season you can see different and fascinating activities : in springtime you can see the birth of the newborn fish followed by the end of the summer when the fish are called out to sea and are then sorted and captured from one reservoir to another. Once caught, the fish are then selected according to size. The fish that are about 2 or 3 years old are caught and processed while the younger ones are destined to the winter ponds. Those who choose Villa Sacchetta, ancient “Cason di Valle”, luxuriously restored, can easily see the different stages of the fish farm within the comfort of the Villa. The residence is surrounded by 120 hectares of exclusive private lagoon property that is an ideal scenario for bike trails, long walks in the silent paths or hunting in the misty muffled autunmn. Venice is 40 minutes from the Villa navigating from Pordello channel with a private boat or with a taxi-boat that picks up the guests directly from the private docking bridge right outside the Villa (payment).
I come not far from Venice but I've been living away for a very long time now. I never thought much of Jesolo: loud, massively touristic, concrete 'till the eye can see. Ca' Savio is slightly different: dunes, beaches without a sea of aligned sun-umbrellas. Not my taste but it does work nonetheless for a couple of days. While visiting my family, my husband and I decided to take a 24-hour break (a night). I was desperate to swim in the sea but did not want to dig in the jungle that is Jesolo and looked for something "different" in the area of Ca' Savio. Well... with Villa Sacchetta we found much more than just "different": it is sheer beauty on earth! The house is defined by low-key (and right because of that!), impressive design. The room we stays in was both extremely elegant and comfortable (too often the two thing do not go together): I've got some problems with my back and I swear I never slept so well on a mattress which is not my own... The breakfast was rich and varied (what an amazing plate of super fresh fruits that was!). The person taking care of us nice, competent, discreet. But the "garden" surrounding the house is that extra thing that made our stay: you can walk for almost 2 kilometres in the lagoon, following amazingly well-kept paths between tiny canals and small ponds. Venice lagoon at its best. AND COMPLETELY ALONE. In Autumn it has to be even more breathtaking than it already was when we stayed. We drove by car (just ten minutes away) to Lio Piccolo, to see the end of the road, where the lagoon opens up: WOW! The free beach of Ca' Savio is not even ten minutes away by car. I've recommended Villa Sacchetta straight away to all my friend living in the region as the PERFECT get-away. And the same I do here: it is worth every penny.

Ca' Mazzega offers four holiday apartments in Venice strategically located and facing the Grand Canal of Murano. All apartments are equipped with all comforts (security door, air conditioning, SAT TV, washing machine, dishwasher) and the furnishing is typically Venetian with some antiques, prints and glass chandeliers from Murano.
We only stayed two nights but would have loved to be able to extend it. The staff were very helpful and arranged our arrival so we didn't need to divert via their office. The apartment was lovely, furnished with classic furniture, and a well thought out kitchen. Situated right next to one of the main boat stops on the island of Murano, it made trips to Venice itself, Burano and Torcello easy. There is a Co-op supermarket nearby for self-catering, and we had a choice of three sizes of espresso maker! Live like a local!

"Casa Merano" is the perfect location for the holiday in Bibione. The house is just few minutes away from the beach and the famous Bibione Thermae. Every room has AC, private parking, beach amenities, Wifi and breakfast included in the price. Particularly adapted for family and children and the four-legged friends are welcome too.
My family and I spent 4 nights at Casa Merano. The owners are extremely welcoming and helpful. We were staying in one of the apartments. A living room/kitchen, 1 bedroom, bathroom (the shower head could use a decalcification though!) and balcony; plus a very useful area to store our luggage. The apartment is 5' from the beach, where we had our umbrella and lounger already reserved. The kitchen has the essentials, but the owners are very happy to accommodate other needs you might have. there are several shops in the immediate vicinity.

We stayed at Diego BnB the night before our flight home. Everything was very clean and there was also a kitchen with some breakfast food. Arranging a shuttle was easy, we were in contact with the host on WhatsApp and they coordinated everything. They do have a credit card machine for payment but said that cash was preferred for the shuttles. The only thing that went wrong was our shuttle never showed up at 4 am to pick us up, so we ended up walking to the airport. There is a shortcut to the terminal that avoids busy roads so be sure to ask the host about it just in case. They refunded our 10€ for that ride promptly via PayPal. Overall, highly recommend!
