Borgo poggetello is locate in a small fraction of Tagliacozzo less than 3 km distance to the center. Small village characterised by a few driveways and many pedestrian streets made of pebbles is surrounded by greenery and silence a few inhabitants and wild nature. The struction recently renovated by artists and equipped with all comfort.
Abbiamo soggiornato una notte in questo piccolo borgo. Piccolo neo la strada per arrivare...con la moto carica di bagagli è stato parecchio difficoltoso salire. Camera pulita ed arredata in modo molto particolare. Personale gentile.

Recently renovated room with ensuite facilities, right in the centre of the town. Lovely small restaurant close by, owned by the same people. Highly recommended for exploring A'quila or as a stop en route, as we did.

You will find the Residence Villa Valsi in the enchanting medieval village of Santo Stefano di Sessanio, located within the National Park of the Gran Sasso d’Italia in the region of Abruzzo. It is an ideal place of sojourn for anyone who loves the peace and tranquillity of the mountains and might enjoy spending time in contact with nature in a characteristic setting.
Stunning and very peaceful place! My dad and I spent a few nights at Villa Valsi, it was a terrific experience under many aspects. Our apartment was cozy, warm, and very comfortable, as well as provided with all the amenities you may need. The place is lovely, surrounded by green areas and just a few minutes from the Medieval town of Santo Stefano di Sessanio, a true little gem in Abruzzo. The owner, Rita, and her husband, Paul, were extremely helpful and generous, also providing us with great information about where to eat and spend the best of our few days in Abruzzo. Villa Valsi is also perfectly located: from here you can easily reach many sites, including L'Aquila, Bominaco, and Rocca Calascio. Thanks so much Rita and Paul for making us feeling like at home! It was a terrific experience and we look forward to coming back!

The Monastery is in a beautiful quite location, views over the surrounding valley from the apartment windows & the terrace were fabulous, there was a Large bathroom also with great views. We stayed for 4 nights The monastery has been excellently renovated with out losing its ancient feel. Cristina was an excellent host who with Ramona made our stay very comfortable. Ramona cooked a great meal on our second last night & also spoke excellent English. The best part of traveling in Abruzzo is that its not overtaken with tourists you get to see the real Italians at work, the restaurants recommended by Cristina we found were excellent, not much English spoken but we got by.

This is the best B&B I've ever stayed at. Super helpful and friendly host. Sparkling clean and spaciuos apartment, comfy beds and snow-white linens. Full-equipped kitchen and many pleasant things like home made pie, yogurt and croissants. We stayed with infant so I was very demanding to the apartment but this one exceeded my expectations. It is located 20 minutes walking distance to the old city. A bit difficult with a stroller but not a problem anyway. If you are going to work during your stay, don't expect good wi-fi there.
