Malaysia is a beautifully complex vacation destination, a land where ancient rainforests give way to multicultural city life. Capital city Kuala Lumpur is visually defined by the iconic Petronas Twin Towers, while in charming Melaka the vibe is more quaint and historical. Many of the country’s national parks offer opportunities for fantastic whitewater rafting, and the exclusive Sipadan dive site (off the east coast of Borneo) is among the best in the world.

So.. I cannot recommend this place enough. It is pricey but! We came here on our honeymoon and I booked a chalet on the water. They upgraded us to a better room. I was inclined to stay on the water regardless. So they drove us around showing different rooms even though eventually I chose to stay in the room the upgraded us to stay in ( so because I was being difficult and picky they were courteous and more than happy to help ). They could have showed they were annoyed with me but they didn’t show a sign, very polite. So really, great great customer service. Also - the staff speaks multiple languages. Happy to help with anything. Booking anything. The whole check in procedure was very informative, pleasant and swift. The accommodation is beautifully located and even though we were disappointed with Langkawi as such t he accommodation made it up to us. Rooms are very clean and elegant. Breakfast buffet is to die for. Genuinely. I think I’ve gained several kilograms. It was our only food for the day as there was such a variety and the taste so amazing.. personally I just couldn’t choose nor stop eating. Beautifully located, greatly maintained, great infinity pool. I would wholeheartedly recommend for you to stay there.

Booked for 3 nights with family for a seaview private villa with swimming pool. Understand because of covid some facilities like gym and SPA are closed. What is good: 1) Unit is spacious for a family of 4 adults with basic facilities and toiletries. 2) The reception staffs are very accomodating and helpful with fast action. 3) Quiet and less crowded. 4) Design of unit is beautiful. What is negative and needed serious improvement: 1) Unit is very run down. 2) refrigerator leaking, 3) folding doors cannot closed after openning with worn out rails, 4) masterbed old with squeeky sound, 5) toilet shower plug missing. 6) swimming pool extremely small can only have one person to swim. 7) TV channels limited to only a few 8) No Free WIFI in the unit. Need to pay to loan a portable WIFI for unit use. 9) A lot of flies sharing your breafast meal at their cafe area. 10) Limited choice of continental breafast and fried chicken is cold. 11) Need a car because nearest restaurant is about 20 minutes drive away. Takes about 60-90 minutes drive from airport to the unit depending on traffic. Avoid the 5-6pm with heavy traffic if possible. Not worth value for money. Would not recommend this resort.

A truly unique architectural private villa, with its own indoor swimming pool, that has been designed to make the guest completely at ease with serene and tranquil surroundings hidden away from all the noise and traffic. La Villa is perfectly situated in the quiet and beautiful beach village of Pantai Tengah, near Pantai Cenang. It is 800 metres from Pantai Cenang's best restaurants, bars, beaches and surf spots. Pantai Cenang hosts the island's best food, shopping destinations and nightlife while the downtown, Kuah is a short 20 minutes away. ~Newly Upgraded Since 7th August 2020~
Conveniently located near Pantai Cenang and Pantai Tengah beaches, La Villa is great for couples or friends looking to unwind, but still close enough to nightlife so you don't get bored. Didn't book the private villas, but the pool room was very spacious, with a lounge and sleeping area, plus a TV box with YouTube, iQiyi and other streaming services. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom was nice and bright . Only room for improvement would be maintenance and cleanliness - overall it's fine, but the shower couldn't close properly because one of the hinges was falling off, and there were cobwebs on the desk. The sign leading into La Villa could be bigger - we missed it the first time because it is very small and only facing one direction, so depending on the side of the road you're on, you may miss it. Staff are very friendly.

Ideal for Families/Honeymooners/Group. Cafetaria is available. All rooms are fully air-conditioned,bathroom attached hot shower, t.v(Astro 6 channels). A friendly and homely atmosphere. A walking distance to the beaches (2 minutes walking distance), near by shop outlets. Nipah Bay Villa located on the coast is easily accessible from Teluk Nipah, which is becoming something of a boom town, where there are splendid beaches, with perfect cove and crystal-clear sand and near by Coral Beach (5 Minutes Walking distance)
For the price we paid for two nights, the accommodation was more than we expected. Working aircond, hot water, tv, mini fridge and towels. Located walking distance to plenty of food stalls and in between two beaches, nipah beach and coral beach which is a 5 minute walk away. Staff is friendly as well. Rooms are within close proximity to each other so do expect a lot of noise when its filled.

Upper View Regalia Hotel formerly known as Regalia Suites & Residences, Kuala Lumpur, is not just an embodiment of authentic city lifestyle. It is an elevation of our contemporary lifestyle with its prestigious location alone speaks miles for its exclusive urban concept.
The room was old and dirty. There even walked a cockroach on my feet when I was standing for a minute. The staff is friendly and seems helpful, but when we asked for help they didn’t do anything. The view and infinity pool are beautiful. Please note that’s it’s necessary to book a spot at the pool and you’re only allowed to use the pool for one hour…not exactly what you would expect.

Stayed here for 2 nights in the 3 bed dorm. The hostel is actually a house and located in a residential area just to the west of Dutch Square, about 5-10 minutes walk. I arrived at the property about an hour before the official check-in time and there was no one there. It was only then I read the check-in instructions that I realised guests are requested to arrange a check in time with the owner. The owner had actually left a note at the front door of the property to let guests know how to get themselves checked in, which was to call a number after which you'll be provided with information for a self check in. It's a little bizarre, but it seems to work. I was also told that there was a water shortage in Malacca and water would only be every second day, although I had no problem getting water in the evenings on either night. The dorm was on the first floor and laid out with 3 single beds and enough lockers for everyone. My bed had a thick, European style firm mattress which was perfect for me. The bed also comes with a thick blanket, but the AC was normally set at 27, so it was warm enough for me to use just the thin blanket cover, but cool enough to sleep. There was a shared bathroom/toilet on the first floor and ground floor. Both of which were clean and functional. The whole time I was there I never saw the owner or any staff, but the guests generally keep the place clean anyway. The hostel also has a living room, a kitchen with fridge and cooking facilities and a dining area. I didn't use these that much as I was out most of the time. Overall I had a good stay and considering the price paid, I got a clean place, comfortable bed and all the facilities expected from a hostel. The set up is strange and not seeing the owner or staff is bizarre.

We stayed in the Esmerelda House as a family of five and loved it. As it was midweek we had the whole place to ourselves and it was a very wonderful and restful time. The pool was great and the views of the forest magnificent. The huge terrace leading onto a large fully stocked kitchen was excellent. The owners were very helpful and friendly.

Located at the strategic locale and from the airport to Nu Melati will cost approximately RM10 by MyCar or Grab. Food court just next to the hotel and Cenang Beach can be reached 5 minutes by walking distance. Room cleanliness as expected but the wifi signal was better than expected. Stayed for 3 days 2 nights and found no daily cleaning service provided. I would probably to stay here again in the future.
