Reviewed By annotated2018The staff were extremely helpful and went out of their way to assist us. The dinner at the hotel was exceptional. The hotel is located between two beaches and provides spectacular views of the surfers, kite surfers, etc. The rooms were large by European standards. There was lots of convenient free parking. The entire experience was first class.We look forward to returning.

Expectations defrauded
Reviewed By JJ_guimasUnfortunately, our expectations were completely dashed!!! We asked and paid for a double room, exquisite as you would expect from the photos, and it turned out that we were presented with an annex outside the main house that had nothing to do with the rest of the decor and style of the place it promotes. Worse yet, was the disappointment with the breakfast. It is nothing like what they say at booking or promote on their site, nothing like in the pictures. As we were on the last shift, at 10am, there was practically nothing left to eat, the tables were mostly pre-occupied and therefore dirty to clean, and the staff in the kitchen bantering instead of replacing the things that should be in this "excellent breakfast". It was a big disappointment, unfortunately and certainly, we will not be back.

Reviewed By isaldanha3Simple and fantastic room with a sea view. Super nice staff and a lovely common area where you can just relax. Walking distance to the beach with lovely restaurants by the sea shore. You can just walk to Cascais and to the amazing Guincho.

Very comfortable villas - brand new inside
Reviewed By LondonMummmyGreat stay in these cute little villas in the grounds of the Onyria Hotel. Superb fit-out, seemingly brand-new insides and great quality beds, showers etc. Be aware the villas are about 10 mins walk from the hotel or a short drive. So if you buy a breakfast / hotel package then it's not just a short stroll, the villas aren't on the grounds of the hotel itself. This and the terrace layout (in the shade!) are the only 2 minor things to note. The hotel is very classy and classic. Pool was COLD so it's not heated, but nevertheless very clean and a good swim. Hotel staff were really friendly and it was a great stay. Recommended - will visit again.

Reviewed By Gerardo SThe place was super quiet, with a beautiful view, a well taken care swimming pool and grilling facilities. The apartments had everything I expected of a high quality B&B and more, and the morning views were breath taken to start the day in the right foot. Highly recommended .

The Villas are the alternative for those seeking for some peace of mind. Located in the city center, but on one of the few premium properties in Ericeira. Common pool and outdoor parking and also a number of green spaces. Several activities , surf , yoga , stand up paddle on site.

Excellent breakfast (due to Covid they served it to your room which was a really nice touch). You can easily get to the beaches by bike. Overall highly recommended.

How we fell in love with Ericeira
Reviewed By disaladaWe were doing a 1 week road trip from Porto to Lisbon. Decided to randomly stop at Ericeira to surf for a few days. Little did we know we were going to fall in love with this surf town and decided to remain here for the rest of the trip. This guesthouse is situation right in the center of town, overlooking the ocean. Although it is very center, the particular road it is located on is peaceful and quiet. This place is only a few minutes walk from the buzzing side of town, within walking distance of all restaurants and shops . The staff is super welcoming the moment you enter. A very homely atmosphere. They really go out of their way to give you surf location tips and the best restaurants to try. The room is clean and airy. The bed is super comfortable giving us 8+ hours of sleep each night. We feel truly rested and on a true relaxing trip. This place is on the top of the list anyone passing by Ericeira. We will no doubt return.

There are also common areas which represent opportunities for guests to meet up, whilst enjoying a breathtaking scenery. When walking around the complex, allow yourself to be enchanted by the hidden spots, specially designed for short retreats. Located between Ribeira d’Ilhas and the beaches of Ericeira, Villa Ana Margarida Beach is a 10-minute walk away from the centre of Ericeira.

Reviewed By Mali DThe place is a gem. the rooms are comfertable , unique and clean. If your looking for five stars this is not it but it is defintley better. The place is wondefully whimsical, well up kept, clean and somewhat isolated. if u surf your right on the surfer beach ( all rocks ). Its a 20 minute walk from town but easily done. Simplicy at ita best !!!
