Lying at Italy’s geographic and historic heart, Lazio (or Latium) was the seat of the Roman Empire, and as such is teeming with ancient attractions, especially in the Eternal City of Rome itself. To the east, Tivoli has Emperor Hadrian’s exquisite and massive Villa Adriana. Civitavecchia, today a major cruise and ferry port, has been Rome’s main harbor since the second century. Many pre-Roman sites dot Lazio too, like the Etruscan necropolis at Cerveteri, dating from the 9th century BC.

Villa Patrizia is a property located approximately nine miles south of central Rome, just off of the city’s Grande Raccordo Anulare (GRA) orbital motorway. Villa Patrizia offers guests an array of unit configurations, with some accommodations featuring balconies. All layouts have a separate living area as well as kitchenettes, TVs, linen, air conditioning and free Wi-Fi. This complex features on-site parking as well as a gym, laundry and babysitting services. This property is also equipped to handle large group events such as weddings, parties and conferences. The on-site restaurant specialises in Roman cuisine, including pasta, pizza and meat grills. Local buses 703, 076 and C8 link guests with Rome’s metro system, offering convenient access to the Eternal City’s main sights. This property is located in close proximity to the Zoomarine aquatic theme park and the University Campus Bio-Medico.
I recently encounter a situation where I needed to extend my stay in Rome. Most of the properties in central Rome showed no availability and those that did, were excessively priced. However, I found this gem of a property that provided reasonable accommodations, with friendly service including daily meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner, although the portions were too generous to mention. As the restaurant is also family run, the menu items are somewhat limited, although what is available is delicious. Be warned, you will not leave the table hungry. As the property is somewhat isolated, it is recommended to rent a car if you plan to stay more than a few days. Another option is to use taxi, Uber or Lift service, for travel to central Rome for touring and dining, although the latter can be somewhat unpredictable. Overall, I would definitely return to this facility, should the occasion present itself again. Should your journey lead you to Villa Patrizia, say hi to the friendly staff of Simone, Luga, and Carmine in the restaurant.

The property is located in the heart of Rome, which includes, among its many squares, churches and fountains, the most important and famous monuments of the city, including Piazza del Popolo, Piazza di Spagna, the Church Santissima Trinità dei Monti and Spanish Steps and the Mausoleum of Augustus. The neighbourhood is a great choice for travellers interested in shopping, culture and food. All our appartments are of different sizes, are completely renovated, some with views of Via del Babuino, or via Margutta, or the internal courtyard, or the rooftops of Rome, and they are equipped with every comfort to meet the needs of those who want to enjoy the beauty of Rome, while feeling at home. The apartments, located in the historic Palazzo Grifoni, are all equipped with kitchen, bathroom, Wi-Fi, telephone, Smart TV ( satellite channels ,digital terrestrial channels, Netflix), air conditioning, and safe.
What a marvellous stay at Babuino79. We have been staying in plenty of apartments and holiday homes all over the world and we can truly say Babuino79 is really one of the best. The apartment is located just a stone throw from the Spanish steps and is in a high class neighbourhood, with branded shops like Kenzo, Chanel etc just at your doorstep. It was an excellent place to tour Rome. We couldn't believe how reasonable the price was for this apartment considering where it is located and eveything inside the apartment was quality and so tastefully furnished. Everything was thought of, small chocolates on arrival, complimentary white wine, water in the fridge, English / satellite channels, toothbrush and toothpaste provided etc. The best part is that your room is cleaned daily and fresh towels replenished. There was air conditioning in the room and the living room areas which was a God-send as it was so hot in Rome this week, and it would be deadly uncomfortable without Best thing was the radiator to heat up /dry towels in the bathroom worked and not switched off as they usually are in other hotels. The staff were great, very friendly, accommodating and check in /out process was such a breeze. As we were checking out early on a Sunday morning, we only had to put the keys into a box at reception and that was it. No doubts Babuino79 would absolutely be my choice of place to stay in Rome in the future.

Casamediterranea is located on the promontory of Sperlonga on a scenic stretch of coast between the most beautiful of the Riviera of Ulysses. Overlooking the sea and surrounded by a park of 30,000 square meters. The charming town with its wide beaches can be easily reached in just 5-10 minutes away by car. Casamediterranea can offer three different types of accommodation: double rooms and studios or apartments up to 40 m² with kitchenette and fridge, able to accommodate up to 5 people; quiet, comfortable, equipped with private bathroom with shower, hairdryer, air conditioning, LCD TV and a safe
We stayed for 3 nights at this lovely B&B which is a 10 minute drive away from Sperlonga. It is in a delightful & peaceful setting with stunning views across the sea and a fabulous Infinity Pool with plenty of outside space to sit and relax. The owners are very friendly & helpful. Breakfast is a typical Italian style buffet with plenty of choice. Drinks & Snacks can be purchased at the Bar during the day & evening. The Room was on the small side although clean & tidy, there is little storage or surface space and he bathroom is very small. We enjoyed our stay.

Located in the hills, 300 meters high in the heart of the Mediterranean scrub, the SarAnd Relais offers the opportunity to stay in one of its 15 rooms located on the garden level, with the swimming pool surrounded by green hills, the restaurant with a panoramic terrace overlooking the sea and on the Pontine Islands, and our organic farm. A farmhouse where the vision of relaxation and the philosophy of a kitchen with products from their own farm merge. The extreme attention to every detail is a dream made and managed by our family.
This agriturismo, on a working farm, is located on a hilltop, therefor rather far away from everything after a long and narrow road winding to the top. Once up there you arrive in an elegant, well-kept resort of just a handful of bungalows, a nice swimming pool and a main farm building which houses the restaurant, the reception and the business centre. You are on a hill top so the view 360 degrees around is breath taking, all the way to the sea! The actual farm is on another hill across a small valley so there is no smell at all, you just here the animals from time to time. The relais is run by the family: Pina and Corrado started it and named it after their kids Sarah and Andrea. Both now help run the organisation and are fluent in English. The large rooms are grouped in a few low-slung buildings, with all possible comfort. Large beds of good quality, air conditioning, flat screen TV, a sofa and a desk, all good quality. Some rooms have a private patio with sunbeds. The restaurant is located on the west side of the refurbished farm building, so you can enjoy the sunset while having dinner on the terrace, weather permitting. The food is simply fantastic. Pina is the chef and she surprised us every time with very tasty and superb looking dishes, mostly with local produce and meat. Apparently other family members like cousins and aunts help in the kitchen and elsewhere. Andrea is a young and ambitious waiter knowledgeable about Italian wines and international beers. Sarah serves breakfast most days and does the reception. The breakfast was first-class with plenty of fresh fruit, sweets, meats and cheese, bread and jams and most interestingly morning zabaglione with fresh eggs from the farm. The grounds are kept spotless and near the pool there is also a large jacuzzi to enjoy privately or with family and friends. It was to me an example of a well-run high class but small boutique resort emphasising quality and refinement. The only two minus point are the difficult cell phone connection (because of the isolated location) and the wi-fi, only in the main building. Apparently, there are plans to get better cell phone service next year. I would also advocate switching off or lowering the outside lighting at night so one can enjoy the stars! We were very happy to have found Saran relais by chance and will try to return soon. Thank you all very much for a very nice stay!

Small hotel with rooms, suites and houses in the medieval little village on a hilltop, beautiful view on the lake of Piediluco, idyllic stay in relax and quite.
We stayed in one of the family apartments and appreciated the wonderful aesthetic of the interior design, but even more amazing we’re the views over the lake. You couldn’t stop gazing out any window you happened upon. We had a few technical glitches which were promptly resolved by management. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention that the beds in our apartment were not that comfortable...however, staying in Labro was such an incredible experience I’d do it again without a second thought. We didn’t realize there are a few restaurants in the village and a few minutes drive from the village are some grocery stores by the lake. If you have the opportunity to stay here WE all recommend it!

Villa Cavalletti was very pleasant. The rooms are large, clean and very new. The hotel is silent and the beds are very good. The hotel grounds are also very nice. The check in was efficient and welcoming. All the services were great including arranging our dinner. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Do not get fooled by the high rated reviews. Make sure to read the low rated reviews which will give you an accurate description of the actual situation. We do NOT recommend. We stayed in the Prestige Deluxe Room (Blue Room). First, understand this place is NOT a hotel, but a guest house. Upon arrival in the afternoon, we waited 45 minutes outside the gate for someone to let us in (no one picked up the phone while we were calling). Also, it is located in a bad neighborhood. Lots of low income housing around, with incessant dog barking day and night. -----> About the villa: -> EVERYTHING is BROKEN: shutters, doors, lounge chairs... There is JUNK EVERYWHERE in the garden, patio... Do NOT EXPECT them to fix anything as they are trying to sell this villa. -> No elevator. No help whatsoever to carry your bags up 2 flight of stairs. -> No usable common area as seen in the pictures. These rooms are for the owner's use only. -----> About the Prestige Deluxe Room (blue room): -> There is a balcony with a small round patio table and chairs. The door is extremely difficult to open and close. As a matter of fact, when it rains, water floods inside the bedroom. The balcony is not swept, and is full of pine tree needles. -> The bathroom door does NOT shut. This was reported in previous reviews, but it is still impossible to close the door. So when using the bathroom, know that the door will remain open. -> No coffee maker in the room but kettle on demand, and there is a fridge. -> No daily full cleaning, but they will provide an extra towel if you ask. -> All doors, windows, and shutters broken -----> About the host: nice but invasive. Stands next to your table while having breakfast.

Truly recommend this place. Has a fantastic location, really close to the Lake and the city centre. The owner it's a really easy going person. If you want to spend great time in Anguillara and stay in a quite place during the night you have to go there.

The location is near the center(all tourist spots), you can go both walking or taking a bus for 2-3 stops. The place is clean, tidy and quiet. We had a nice balcony with beautiful veiw, also private bathroom, netflix, coffee and water every morning. Very close to the place there are excellent restaurants, bars and a supermarket, also atms, etc. The host signor Paolo is very helpful and nice. Everything we asked for he was there for us, regarding directions, recommendations or anything really. We'll come back! Thank you so much!
