It took me a bit to catch on that Townhomes on the Green was actually located on a golf course. I thought it was great. Quiet. Very clean. And a really nice room. Checking in and out is quick and painless. And, since Afton consists of one main thoroughfare, easy access to the town. It is not your ordinary place to stay and I will definitely stay here again.

Run down. Noisy. Poor service. Terrible breakfast. Stay anywhere else in Douglas but here. Room was barely passible, but the curtains sheers were ripped and the screen torn. A place for contract utility workers, not for couples.

Upon arriving I was not sure what to expect. The entry to the office consists of sort of a mud room with a key return box in it. But the young lady at the front desk was very sweet although she seemed a bit distracted when I arrived. I believe the hotel has 3 main areas with rooms. My room was toward the back in the 2 story building. There were a couple of old looking gas grills outside, but there were also flowers planted that made for a nice appearance. The inside of the room was somewhat spartan -- a large area and a cozy looking bed. The young lady had warned me that the room would probably smell of Lysol from when she had cleaned it earlier that day, and it did. When I walked across the room the first thing I noticed was the creaky floor. Obviously this is an older property that had been given a cosmetic makeover. But the TV worked, the bathroom fixtures were in good shape, and there was a microwave. The area above the sink appeared to be unfinished and old, but there were signs of TLC all around: A basket with extra washcloths, to be used to clean grime (probably intended for the energy industry workers who stay there), a couple of complimentary bottles of water, a package of microwave popcorn, and a granola bar. As I really didn't feel like exploring the eating places in town I appreciated having the popcorn and granola bar. Once in awhile I could hear somewhere upstairs walking across their creaky floor, but for the most part it was quiet. And I slept great. Looking back, with Covid going on I probably paid too much for this room, but I was happy to give this place a chance.

Wow! was our first word when entering Star Valley Lodge! It was warm and welcoming and every inch was spotless. The furnishings bring out the lifestyle and history of the region with a focus on the cowboy. The exquisite stone fire place in the main room provided warmth and solitude. The lodge overlooks a valley nestled beneath the mountains of Bridger National Forest. Available ATVs allowed for closer experiences with nature through the forest and the area around Strawberry Reservoir. The beautiful kitchen lacks for nothing. Outside you will find a large grill, two decks, outside fire kettle, and a gas fire pit. The site coordinator is extremely friendly, helpful, knowledgeable about the area, and makes sure you have everything you need. We were also given a tour of the amazing guest house for smaller groups. We would highly recommend Star Valley Lodge for family vacations any time of the year!

The Meeteetse Inn is a family owned and operated hotel with 14 units. The Meeteetse Inn offers standard rooms, studio suites, and luxury suites with balconies facing the Absaroka Mountains.
Our room was clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed and the place was quiet. This was an excellent choice for our needs while in the area and I would definitely recommend Kristin and her hospitality. Thanks for a fantastic experience! Oh, and I love big fluffy bath towels, which I had!

I came to Lander to visit my son in March of 2020. The Mill House was a wonderful place to stay, and a great refuge during these difficult times. It was immaculate and incredibly comfortable. The "Penthouse" was well appointed with a kitchen that had everything that we needed (including locally roasted delicious Wyoming coffee!). Jessica helped us and was wonderful - accessible, helpful, knowledgeable, flexible. I will happily return.

All of our rooms contain mini-fridges, microwaves, and coffee pots. The rooms all have satellite TV's and free Wi-Fi, however we do not have air conditioning as our location usually does not need it. We also provide coffee and fixings, bathroom toiletries, and daily housekeeping.
Terrible motel... very poorly maintained and housekeeping leaves much to be desired. Booked a kitchenette room for a week, we had two gas leaks in our room, no bottom sheet on bed, fridge froze all our food, hot water heater quit. Requested another room and moved to a two queen non-kitchenette room which had a garbage bag stapled over door where glass should've been, then heater quit. Discussed these issues with owner and requested a discounted rate which he agreed to. He then billed us more than was agreed and when we refused to pay extra we were asked to leave, accused of trespassing and the sheriff was called. I have never had a worse interaction with a motel... and I have travelled extensively. I would recommend ANY other motel than this one in Dubois!
