The Hotel MOTTO is not normall. That's the nice thing! The motto is passion, the fulfillment of a personal dream. Feel this power in every material, at every corner. The historic former Hotel Kummer was restored by Arkan Zeytongolu Architects with great attention to detail, giving French opulence, sophisticated design and hip lifestyle a new stage - in the middle of Vienna. The individual room ideas and the casual atmosphere are an exclusive playground for travelers who are looking for self-determination and individuality. Integrated into the urban life in the 6th district, the guest enters a world of his own. Casual, stylish, queer. The perfectly coordinated interplay of living spaces and gastronomy - with a restaurant-bar, roof terrace and own organic bakery - creates a multi-layered microcosm that makes real luxury tangible. In the middle of the pedestrian zone on Mariahilferstrasse, Vienna's most popular promenade.
While touting itself as a quiet hotel with sound proofed rooms I can confirm that this is anything but quiet. While the suites are absolutely stunning they are let down by the fact that they allow private parties to blast out music until the early hours, in a function room that sits above the suites on floor 6. The staff are not interested at all in creating a good nights sleep for guests, which seems to be a theme of most hotels these days. If anybody knows of any truly quiet hotels (merely between the hours of say 11-6) I would love to hear about them.

The apartment was nice, clean, spacious and well equipped. On arrival I was greeted by a lovely person who explained gave me the cards and explained everything to me in English. Although I did not have a car, they offer free parking. The area is so lovely and quite. There is the SPAR supermarket close by, hairdress and some lovely restaurants. The Austrian people are so lovely! Although it 's not in the city centre, it is well connected to subway station. The under ground and the public transport are very efficient!

The Apollo Hotel in Vienna is a little gem to be discovered. It is located close to the Westbahnhof offering direct bus service to Vienna Schwechat Airport. The Mariahilfer Strasse (Shopping Street) and the Viennese City Centre can be reached on foot or by Metro very easily. This is a boutique style hotel with lots of charm and beautiful rooms. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is simple but serves its purpose. Definitely, the price for the room is very competitive for what you get compared to other Vienna hotels. Loved the place and highly recommend it, particularly if you are staying as a tourist.

Are you willing to spend your Viennese trip in a place that is quiet and yet conveniently located in the middle of the Danube metropolis? Then our hotel is exactly what you are looking for! The Pallottihaus Wien: - is not only very close to the Schönbrunn Palace, but also offers short distances to one of the richest art, culture and leisure activities in Europe - is open to all lovers of the Danube city of Vienna, city travellers, people interested in education, retreats or seminar participants - combines the elegant ambience of a stately villa with the “joie de vivre” spirit in the sense of Vincent Pallotti
My husband and I wanted to try something different, so we stayed at Pallottihaus, Vienna for 2 nights and we just loved it! The place is quiet, located in a very nice neighborhood and near the restaurants, stores, bakeries (try the tortes & strudels), train station and Schönbrunn Palace. The room was monastic (which we both liked - we wanted something modest), clean and served a good breakfast before heading out to sightsee. There is a chapel inside the building for people to say a little prayer for the day or just spend a quiet moment with God. Mr. Christian Binder took our reservation via email without even asking for a credit card (delightfully unusual). It was very informal and it was based on a handshake deal. We paid when we left to explore Austria. They take Visa. The place is very secure. You get a key to the front door which you lock before you turn in for the night because there is no receptionist at night. To get there, take the U4 underground train from Vienna city proper & get off Hietzing station. That is the station that has the elevators and escalators, which helps if you have a big luggage to haul with you. A fellow guest (she is a regular) informed us that the area is premium real estate in Vienna. We are definitely coming back should we decide to explore more of Austria...and Austria is a drop dead beautiful country. Austrians are a happy and well-mannered people. We love Austria. Cheers!

Lovely and clean place by the Mariahilfer strasse, close to everything you need to do in Vienna. The rooms are spacious and clean, same as the bathroom and the toilet. The owner is a great guy, even he helped me to make my coffee, what is a never ending complimentary option. Only 6 rooms, you feel like at home, and the price is fair. We will come back again, when visiting Vienna!

We stayed here for 3 nights with 2 young children and we were pleasantly surprised by this apartment. It was a 2 bedroom apartment with decent size rooms and a very large living area, that had a huge sofa, which turned out to be a sofa bed as well. The kitchen is sufficient and has good utensils like decent knives and pans which is not necessarily a norm. There was good communication from the owner and the check in and check out process is 'self service' and painless. The location is good and its relatively central, only a 10min walk away from the main city centre and not more than 5mins to the underground station. There are supermarkets a couple of mins down the road and plenty of food options around the area. The main complaint we had about the apartment itself was the window in the smaller room lets in a very bright yellow light through the night. The kids struggled on the first night and we ended up having to put a towel up on the window as it was far too bright. That aside, we would definitely stay here again.

This is really the most worst place I have every been. Chinese run apartment, nobody speaks english or german. You need to use a postbox code in case you like to enter into the house and take your apartment you booked in advance. I have booked via booking.com 1 night stay, and the room offered was occupied by somebody. I opened the wardrobe and there were clother and goods inside. The bath was not clean at all, it was clearly that staff or somebody else was staying inside. I asked for my money back from somebody who probably was belonging to the staff, but no success. They refused me, and because it was middle of the night, I had to look for another hotel. Definetaly never again!
