The former Yugoslav republic of Slovenia, which gained its independence in 1991, is slightly smaller than New Jersey. With one toe dipped in the Adriatic and several major rivers and lakes, water sports are popular. To the east, the Alps provide excellent hiking and skiing. Nestled below its castle, the capital of Llubjana is a vibrant, youthful city with a thrilling arts scene, a flotilla of festivals and impressive architecture that runs the stylistic gamut from Renaissance to Art Nouveau.

We arrived early to this hotel and our room was not ready. We were offered a room next to reception on the ground floor and we accepted, since there was no elevator and we would not need to climb stairs. It was a spacious, very modern and clean room, and quiet as well. Perfect for our one night stay. The desk staff was very helpful and provided tips for sightseeing. Breakfast was quite nice and protected. Felt very safe. Good location for walking to Old town and had parking, which we reserved in advance. Upon checkout, we received 'goody bags' with water and Cockta (Slovenian soda drink), for our drive, which was nice. Only negative was needing to pay in cash, which was a bit behind the current times. In 3 weeks of travel, this was the only place that required cash payment and it was in one of the biggest cities on our trip, but maybe why it was a good price.

I have very much enjoyed my stay at the hotel: it's not only stylish but also quite practical and ergonomic which makes it's both pleasant and convenient to live. It is also rather quiet at night and the beds are cozy (pro tip: you could ask for different type of pillows - my favorite is anatomic one). I stayed at slightly better room than standard and much recommend it if you would like to work from your room - it has a decently sized table. Moreover, the amenities outside the room are also great: they have nice restaurant/bar on the ground floor

The hotel offers relaxation in the Alpine ambience, where a combination of the old elements and modern style enchant you with warmth and homeliness. Every morning you can start a new day with a great home-made and healthy breakfast. In the hotel there are 6 rooms and 1 apartment, sauna and ski/bike room. Room are double with or without balcony and one quadruple. The apartment can host up to 4 persons.
We stayed here over a weekend at the start of the December 2021. Before the arrival, the owner Maja send us SMS how to enter the hotel without needing to stop at the reception. We handled stuff at the reception the next morning. We booked an apartment which was really cozy and spacious with the Mountain View. The public parking is free and right next to the hotel, the surroundings was really quite even thought it is in the center.

Čatež Hotel offers a pleasant ambience to guests on holidays and those who come to Terme Čatež to alleviate health problems. It hosts also families on vacation which are accommodated in spacious hotel suites.
Old but clean hotel, good but poor meals. Wellness is not free for the guest, you can entrance in termal rivijera (pools) only one time daily for free, next time is 6 €. Hotel reception is closed after 9pm, you have to go in hotel Terme. There was no massagge servise in pool area (it was weekend) . Unfortunately, I would not come here again.

This place is perfect for a family vacation, especially with small children. The tree house, the farm animals, the view, everything was just perfect. Peter is such a nice host, this place literally made our vacation in Slovenia great.

Annex Mirta is surrounded with a Mediterranean park and offers a wellness center. At the neighboring Hotel Haliaetum, a sea water swimming pool and a restaurant overlooking the sea are available. The area offers sports facilities, including a modern fitness center, beach volleyball and tennis courts. The San Simon Resort also features a children’s playground and a mini club for children.
The hotel is located 2 minutes walking from the sea and 15 minutes walking from the town center. You have a check in a a different hotel which is 1 minute away from that one and restaurant 150 meteres away. The breakfast is so good!! Also the hotel is very clean! The staff is very friendly, especially Davor at the check in! Highly recomended!

We stayed for 1 night here - there are no plače for suitcase in the room. Bathroom was dirty - toalet paper was everywhere, bad smell and also bath was not clean. There is no air in the room and ventilation is on all the time - it is quite noise for sleeping. Also chack in was very slow, not do bad for 1 night, but we do not come back.

i enjoy eating a healthy veggie-based meal now and again, so my wife and i came here for lunch. i ordered the day's special "vegetable soup". i was served a hearty green puréed soup, with a pleasant but very strong flavor of some herb i couldn't place. i asked the waitress what was in the soup, and she tells me it's primarily broccoli. i elaborated that it has a very strong herb flavor, and i'm very curious what it is. she makes it clear she has no idea what's in the soup and appears irrate when i suggest that she please ask the chef. she comes back a few minutes later and reports that the soup is primarily broccoli and peas. i explain again that i know what broccoli and peas taste like, and the soup has a very strong aroma of something else. to this she conclusively states that the chef keeps the details of his dishes secret. i understand not all chefs write books and go around publicizing their recipes, but not to tell a curious diner what they are eating is completely bizarre. i've never experienced anything like this before or since. i like to know what i eat; I'll never come here again for any more of their "mystery" dishes.
