Safari Travelodge accommodation consists of twenty air-conditioned rooms with en-suite bathrooms. The rooms can definitely be described as rustic luxury, rustic luxury but comfortable. The fact that a lot of emphasis is placed on the ease and comfort of our guests is evident from the fact that each room has its own private entrance, covered parking, a bar fridge, TV with DStv and coffee/tea facilities. We want our guests to get the room that suits them the best. So please take the time to go through our room descriptions to avoid disappointment. We strive to have all our guests leave with a smile. We believe in a honest approach with our guests and that is why we have separate categories for our rooms. Safari Travelodge's discreetly elegant function venue is one of the most popular places for small functions due to the fact that catering and décor are included in the packages offered. The air-conditioned conference venue can accommodate up to 80 delegates and is also equipped with a backup power generator.
This accommodation was clean and good use was made of the available space in the rondawels. The shower was hot, which was a real joy! The bed comfortable and the restaurant served good basic food. it was just very difficult to find and we had to phone twice for directions. The roads are not well marked in Kuruman, and we battled, even with Google maps. The Safari Travelodge is in a very quiet area of Kuruman on the plots outside of the main town area and we felt very safe.

This was pleasant tented accommodation The owners helpful and accommodating While the tent was comfortable it really lacked self catering facilities in crockery, example no salad bowl, actually there was only 2 knives, forks, 2 plates and 2 cups. The kitchen was shared facility, under covid, not ideal. Also as it stands it really was only sufficient for one family at a time. Breakfast was very ordinary but we were the only guests

Nestled in a conservation area in a kloof, 10km off the N7. Hosts Victor and Lyn Burke (farmer owners) really give this place a family atmosphere. No electricity, electric blankets or electric lighting. Creature comforts provided by hurricane lamps, down duvets and 2 warm blankets kept the zero degree temperature at bay. Fire place in tented bar and dining room where we consumed some beverages to ease the aching muscles. Supper (cooked by Lyn) consisted pulled lamb pie , chicken and veggies. Yes, pudding (Malva and ice cream ) included!! Home cooked meal at its best..? Good nights rest before hot water in a flask delivered on our stoep for ‘wakker maak ‘ koffie. A truly South African Glamping experience but with a homely, family feel

The Border Hotel is situated on an operational Pecan Nut Farm in the small town of Jan Kempdorp, on the border of the North West and Northern Cape Provinces, just 40 km from the Free State border, en-route to Bloemfontein. This newly renovated hotel is the perfect stop over for business and leisure guests alike, as it offers best of both worlds. The Border Hotel is fully wheelchair friendly.
I enjoyed my stay there by Border Hotel. The room was spacious and so clean I could. Great stuff and services. Their breakfast is also tasty. The only thing that was a bit unpleasant was the water, balancing the water temperature was like a work of art - patience was needed.

We arrived on a Thursday night travelling from Pretoria to Cape Town. I must say we genuinely had an amazing time, everything that you need for a overnight stay. Very cozy room (nice and neat) with comfortable bedding, a TV!

Herb Garden is a geusthouse with 3 spacious bedrooms all with on-suites with a restaurant searving breakfast, lunch and dinner on site. Playground for children available.
Every once in a while you get pleasently surprised by an experience and that is what dining should be, an experience. I am "home" visiting family and decided to take my mom to dinner @ Herb Garden. Initialy I was taken aback as they did not have the Pork Saltimbocca I wanted. I then decided, on the server's suggestion, to try the Heb Garden fillet. Man, what an experience. Succulently cooked fillet paired with blue cheese sauce, finished with green fig over a creamy mash. I could not stop eating. I am not into sweets, but was amazed at the freshly baked chocalate volcano with vanilla ice cream my guests had. Add to that the excellent service and this trully was an experience.

Andranus Guesthouse is situated in Upington and offers guests a choice of six units. All of the units have en-suite bathrooms, TVs, as well as desks. For convenience, breakfast is included. Clean, spacious and amazing comfortable beds. Great stop over, great facilities, security fair. Had three land cruisers and two trailers so parking a bit tight but doable. Unfortunately we had increasingly noisy people in the room next to us that kept us awake until 2am but not the fault of the establishment. Great value for money.
