The mighty Nile has been providing Egypt with water for millennia. Deserving of its reputation as the world's largest open-air museum, the Nile River Valley contains thousands of monuments at sites such as Luxor and Aswan. Don't miss the city of temples ar Karnak, the dozens of tombs in the Valley of the Kings, the massive rock temples of Abu Simbel or vast and powerful Luxor Temple. Visitors can float by these astounding sites on a felucca boat or cruise ship or catch a train from Cairo.

The hotel was clean, it had all the basic necessities, the location Great! But the best part of our experience was the amazing staff members. Specially Ahmed Shahawy the hotel manager. My wife and I were supposed to stay for only one night, but she ended up getting sick with bronchitis and laryngitis. She ended up in the emergency room. Ahmed was there with us every step of the way, he took us to the hospital, to the specialist, to the pharmacy and back to the hotel. He accommodated us on a bigger more comfortable room. I tried to give him a $200 USD tip but he refuse the tip. He said “I am just doing my job” We had to extend our stay for a week or so or until my wife was strong enough to travel. Every day we were there, the staff members asked how my wife was doing, they went out of their way to make special teas and food that were not in the menu and took it to our room. I also like to thank the night staff clerk who went in on his day off to take my wife and I to the follow up appointments to translate. Unfortunately I can’t remember his name. I attempted to tip him and his response was “ no need for that, it was my pleasure to help you”. We were treated with care and kindness and for that we will always we grateful.

What i can say about Mohamed. It started all pretty well i booked an amazing place i found on airbnb for me and my husband. So he told me he wouldnt be arround but give me his Cousins number if i need help on the way. I actually dont needed help on the way but we had a caraccident and i needed to tell its going to be late, his cousin write me back and dont even know were coming, he told me someone else stay there already (if u have different pages u should know how to block dates, its so easy). Anyway i talked to mohamed again and he put us in an other place less rooms and smaller and totaly not that what i payd for (btw it was already paid by creditcard). So he told me if i want he can cancel and get the full refund back, but he want me to cancel and as u know canceling at latenight a place u stay u never get a refund. Look guys think twice if u wanna deal with Mohamed theyre have a lot more nicer places with more easyer people, mohamed just see the money and how to get there, he dont care at all if ur comfy, so i dont recomend the villa or nile castle at all. Also i told u before that we have a dog and if its ok, u dont react on that pretty long as well as u dont like to write back or prefer to talk with my egyptian husband than me, u have rude behaviors and after complaining that i have an egyptian husband (man were married and visit his fam in luxor and assuan, also about the dog i have messages to proof i did inform u. One good thing was raggab the lovely housekeeper.

We are one of the best hotel locations in Egypt. Habu Hotel Ecolodge is Luxor's first ecolodge-a stunning restoration of one of the West Bank's oldest historic hotels We have created seventeen ensuite eco-rooms. The Tabekh Dining Room and Panorama Terrace specialisies in Upper Egyptian Cuisine. We are the only hotel in Luxor that supports Islamic mysticism, culture and arts- We create a monthly Sufi Arena of musicians, folk song and dance. We are ten steps to heaven- the royal palace and the ancient site of The Medinet Habu. We support eco-tourism conscious tours and retreats, bike hire, hikes, horse riding and tuk-tuk journeys into a magnificent, secret Ancient Egypt.
I have travelled to Luxor many times and was happily surprised that Habu Hotel Ecolodge had opened on my past visit. There is nothing like staying right across from the temple. Ash and her team’s hospitality was second to none. We were made to feel at home from the second we arrived. The food there was second to no one! Everything we ate was prepared with love and you could feel it. Ash always had amazing suggestions for what teas would best help us along with dessert suggestions. We were nourished the entire time we were there. I am looking forward to going back and spending more time in this amazing space.

We stayed here for one day and had a lot of fun. Location is feet from the jetty. Everyone here was very friendly (carried our luggage up flights of stairs). Take them up on dinner. We had grilled fish which was amazing! We walked to Aswan museum, took boat ride around Elephantine island and walked around the area untildark. Left at 5:45am next morning and owner was up and walked with us down to the ferry. Very nice and unexpected.

An unique experience with amazing hosts, Yvone and her husband who helped us with everything we needed. The rooms were big and clean. Breakfast was greatly served in a wonderful garden. Thank you and we are recommending this with all our hearts.

Molto preparati e affidabili. Sono stata davvero bene e in tutta sicurezza. Consigliatissimo.
