Restaurants in Choeng Thale
Spent one week in this lovely two bedroom villa with my almost two year old toddler. The rooms are really nice and feels luxurious. Whatever I need that's not in the room was provided upon request, like my son likes bananas and we got bananas. The kitchen has lots of cooking utensils, water kettle toaster, coffee machine microwave, dish rack etc. There is a washing machine with a clothes rack hiding in the back room. Baby crib and high chair was provided upon request. The largest room can we one big bed or two smaller ones. The in room massage was quite affordable and actually quite nice. Will be doing that again when baby takes another nap! There is a variety of choices for breakfast, so it never gets boring. There is a playground across the street, along with coffee shop, Italian restaurant and a gin bar! Not far away are a bunch of restaurants for the western palate. Although it's not next to a beach, it's also not too far from it. The week was quite relaxing and can't wait to come back again.

Although the condo itself is ok, very-very comfy bed and a terrific terrace, the location is terrible. Perhaps when things open up after Covid19 the location and construction will not be its #1 deficit. Plus the dark alley-streets at night might intimidate a new solo traveler. Although the check-in staff were friendly enough they were rather unhelpful with information about facilities and services, restaurants, location and transportation etc. This residence poses as a serviced apartment style but it’s far from that. Other than having my bed made each day... whatever. After you check-in and they take your payment, you’ll find that you’re on your own. My room was C505. The terrace is fantastic except for the chairs. Why the operators of this condo chose to purchase the most uncomfortable and useless outdoor chairs is rather baffling to me and don't even get me started on the ridiculous small side-table on the terrace...another odd choice. Plus, inside the unit there’s no where to sit for a meal or do work. Even just one or two stools adjacent to the kitchen counter/pseudo breakfast bar or a pull-up table on the wall would remedy this problem. Or maybe a table and chairs on the terrace is a reasonable solution. The gym was small but well fitted and the two pools looked great. The Suirn Beach is actually about a good 10 minutes walk...might be an issue with families with smaller kids or pushing strollers and carrying things etc. A one bedroom is not really suitable for more than two adults and maybe one kid. I I'd book a two-bedroom just for the space.

We booked a 2 night stay when we arrived the owners greeted us with a lovely cold pineapple smoothie, they where very friendly. We had the pleasure of staying in a brand new unit which was a little bit away from the original buildings that I had seen when booking. The owners are gradually building more units as and when funds allow. The unit was immaculate, spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated, the bed was very large and comfy with good quality bedding and pillows , there was a very large fridge with free bottled water, a kettle with mugs and coffee. The bathroom was large with a good shower plenty of of hot water. Air con and wi-fi very good. It was a couple of minutes walk to the beach which was nice soft white sand, you can hire a sun lounger for 100thb. Chill land house also has a small restaurant which is fabulous, the food is really cheap and tastes amazing the service is a little slow and you need to be there before 7pm or you wont get a table. Both the accommodation and the restaurant are great value, the owners are lovely and friendly I truly hope they get lots of bookings to enable them to build more units, if ever I was back in Bang Tao I would certainly stay at Chill land house again.

Baan Napatr was the best place I stayed in the whole island. Cheap, new furnitures, clean, quiet, modern. I got a groundfloor room and it was perfect. Every morning they gave me two bottles of water and coffee to make in the very room. I extended my stay two times, I felt like at home.

Hotel CoCo was Excellent and Highly recommended if visiting on a budget. The Hotel is very clean and the staff are very polite & helpful. Nang the Manager went out of her way to help us with all the arrangements and ensuring we got all the documents including Thai Pass. Insurance etc all sorted for us. The location is near Bang Tao Beach and close to all the main shopping & eating areas of Boat Avenue. I recommend staying here for the budget conscious traveller.

I stayed almost 14 days in turtle rooms and i must say this place was an excellent choice. It was my first time in phuket so you never know in advance what to expect. The staff is super friendly and it helps a lot that most of them talk good to excellent english, which is not common for what i’ve experienced when i tried to talk with locals. There is a co living space with a huge tv with netflix, a comfy sofa and airconditioning. The kitchen just received a necessary update and now you have everything your kitchenheart desires. Enough tools and the staff makes sure it’s cleaned properly. The rooms are equiped properly as well and have everything you need. I must say that if you book a room for 3 people it’s spacious enough but the single bed is not a recommendation. Quite hard and it’s not really a bed. It’s a sofa you unfold so be aware of maybe a bit of sore back after some days. The normal double bed is excellent, very comfy and soft. The airco works properly is not too loud. I would recommend getting a room on the opposite side of the main road if you don’t want any noise during your sleep. I’m 27 years old and the reason of my trip to phuket was mainly to wakeboard everyday so it’s important to have a nice and comfy stay. Turtle rooms definitely provided this and i will stay there again if i’m in phuket in the future. The staff also helps you with whatever question you have and will always stay superfriendly. If the manager Ann is there, make sure you have a little chat with her. She’s a lovely person to talk too and will make you laugh with one of her anecdotes. Your nextdoor neighboor is a washplace so you can drop your dirty clothes there. Next day you pick them up for a low price. Next to that place you have a message place. Convenient for me as a wakeboarder. Two houses to the left there is a pharmacy. A seven eleven is 2min with the scooter for any purchases you need. Also withdrawing money is possible at every seven eleven. It’s located on a busy road so you are close to everything. Should i say anything more to convince you staying there? I think not. Big thanks to Ann and her staff for a carefree day and comfy stay.
