Reviewed By eneasmorenooThe Stay Koook experience was great. It’s easy arrive from Bern Center, just 5 minutes from central train station, by train. There are many facilities, such as a Coop supermarket (in the same building), train station (in front of Kooook), breakfast, full equiped studio, laundry room, games boards, pool, drinks and foods (you have to pay if you take it), etc. Staff send you a message with all information you need it before you arrive. If you need help, you have a staff number and they’ll come as soon as possible. We have enjoyed our Kooook experience and we don’t hesitate to recommend it.

We offer two different locations with various accommodation: The Pop-up Lodge currently offers 21 double rooms and 1 single room, divided into the categories Standard, Comfort and Comfort+. The room price also includes breakfast, which is served in the cafeteria of the sports centre. There are also 4 apartments to rent. The facilities of the sports centre can also be used free of charge. This includes the indoor swimming pool, the Alpine Spa and Gym. Depending on the room category, a daily cleaning or only a final cleaning is planned. The Sport Lodge is located in the former staff building of the Hotel Palace. We offer 6 double rooms with a private bathroom & breakfast. We also offer 9 double rooms and 6 single rooms with the bathroom in the corridor. For these rooms there is a lounge with a small self-catering kitchen on the ground floor. In the rooms of the Sport Lodge we offer a final cleaning. Free access to the indoor swimming pool & ice rink in winter is included in the price.

Reviewed By 27paulsHuge clean rooms, comfy new bed, spectacular views. 2 min walk from the station. The hotel was bankrupt and has been reopened by a community organisation, Rooms are basic but confortable. Modern furnishings, classic ie old bathroom but clean and fully functional. Access and a basic breakfast are in the adjacent sports centre lobby and cafe for the time being. Memorable stay. Want to go back and see how it develops. Dont forget to get a swiss tourist discount card.

Amazing location for the slopes
Reviewed By el15eThe lodge is in an excellent location, so close to the town and the first gondola station. Staff are really friendly and the whole lodge has a relaxed feel about it. Beds were super comfortable, going with a group of 6, there was open rooms on the ground floor that we could hang out together in. Breakfast was continental with a good selection of food. Check in/out was really easy and the hotel was happy to hold our bags on the first and last days of our trip. Would definitely visit again!!

A place to enjoy and relax
Reviewed By Rolf BIt is a very beautiful area with an old wooden bridge (well rebuild) and several very old farming houses kept in almost original condition. In the Restaurant, you can choose from a variety of very traditional fine dishes and for dessert try the traditional "Merängge" with homemade wiped cream and icecream. It is very relaxing, peaceful and a lot of fresch air. You can also go for a walk in the area for 30 min up to several hours.

Authentic Swiss Home to start your Swiss Alps Adventure
Reviewed By AceY39If you want to stay in a real Swiss neighborhood, if you want to stay in an Alpine looking house, if you are not in a rush and want to take your own sweet time visiting the alps... if this is you... This is the place to stay! Stayed here for 5 nights to go visit the alps. They gave me the room with the huge balcony and it was nice to just sit down, have a drink and watch the alps and relax. It is walkable to the train station but give yourself atleast 8-10mins to walk(i clocked this with a very slow pace and i dont want to sweat coz it was snowing). A very good base to stay if you wanna enjoy both the Jungfrau region and Interlaken West. Trust me. Unterseen/Interlaken West has alot of Insta spots! You will also get the Interlaken card which you can use to take free public transport in Interlaken and surrounding areas. This was very nice coz I needed we all need to go to Interlaken Ost from Interlaken West to go to the Alps! There is a bakery nearby that opens at 6am for a good breakfast and a COOP supermarket nearby if u wanna save money. Migros cafeteria by the train station also sells 'affordable' lunch and dinner. Overall great stay!

Good value for the money
Reviewed By Photographer17The location of this hotel is fantastic. It is close to restaurants and shops and a five minute walk from bus stops. I was nervous about noise with the hotel being over a bar, but the bar was not loud, mainly with local customers. More noise came from the street itself (people walking by and horse drawn carriages), but the noise was comparable to any hotel in a European pedestrian city center. Our room was updated and the use of the kitchen was a nice plus considering how expensive food is in Switzerland. My two areas for improvement would the key card system and furnishings. The key card was tied to your phone, but every time you left the building wifi would drop so you'd need to reconnect to wifi to get the access activated again (we did not have cell service on all phones). Also, the furnishings were creative but did not have normal hotel shelves to unpack and spread out. The price was very competitive for the area and with the use of the kitchen, we paid a lot less for our total stay than if we stayed at a normal hotel. Also, there is a fantastic balcony on the top floor with beautiful views and tables to have a drink or relax. The hotel also has a luggage storage room on the first floor if you get there early and there are multiple public restrooms if are traveling with others and your room toilet is in use.

Homey and lovingly decorated Bed and Breakfast, far away from highways and crowded cities. DeHeimelig is located in Huttwil and at the intersection of Oberaargau and Emmental. It is the perfect starting point for unique hiking and bicycle trails trough the original, sometimes dramatic and nearly unspoilt landscape of the Napf region and the Emmental. Reviewed By KSH68Stayed one night at this lovely house just up the hill from Huttwil. Mina was there to greet us and helped us get settled in. She is a very friendly hostess but was careful to also respect our privacy. However, it was quite nice to chat with her in the main room downstairs. The rooms are very clean and well prepared, as is the bathroom. The area is quiet so we had no trouble sleeping. Mina prepared an excellent breakfast in the morning too! Beautiful house, beautiful hostess.

A little gem in a tiny village

The room was beautifully decorated and very functional; the bed was very comfortable. Very nice dinner as well as breakfast. Nice staff too.

Great B&B for families
Reviewed By DionneKayeThe hotel was steps from Wengen station. We arrived on a rainy snowy day so this helped a lot with kids in tow. When we got into out family room, we were surprised at how spacious it is! It had a separate space for the kids, we a restful sleep. The restaurant was really good and reasonably priced. We also had great interactions with the staff. They are ALL so nice!!! Andrew, Markea ( sorry if I misspelled it, awesome German lady) and the 2 swiss ladies at the restaurant they all do a fantastic job! We felt very welcomed. Breakfast was good. They have a selection of coldcuts, cheeses, eggs, different breads. Just an overall great stay. We will for sure come back!!
