Stayed in the Rotonde room and loved it. We also booked to stay again on our return trip so that’s how much we liked it. Lovely property and decoration right in the town so very easy to get to all the bars shops and restaurants- plenty of dining options and the host is happy to help you and recommend -

Me and my partner had a lovely stay at this beautiful chateau and were very well looked after by our friendly host. Quiet and peaceful location in the countryside, coupled with a hot tub and prosecco made for a very relaxing getaway. The breakfast was superb with one of the best french toasts we have ever had! Great value with very high standards throughout, highly recommended.

This place is amazing Without doubt the cleanest place I have ever stayed The owners Christian and Mia are delightful and very professional The rooms are large, sunny and very well appointed, well decorated, oh and super clean Breakfast was a feast of home made stuff including jams, yogurt and fruits. There was also local hams and cheeses. As continental breakfasts go probably the best The property is a 5 minute walk out of the centre of Honfluer which is a very pretty old fishing port stuffed full of great restaurants I booked it on line through booking.com and was required to pay 50% deposit by bank transfer as they don't take credit cards which I was highly suspicious of, unfairly as it turns out as there was no issue Definitely will return and can not recommend it highly enough.

We were thrown out of Le Channel next door because they would not accept our printed NHS vaccination certificates. So we took hastily updated QR codes to Le Normandie - where their scanner could not read the codes anyway! - but they courteously accepted our certificates and asked us to leave phone numbers, which we were happy to do. Service was excellent, with social distancing well observed, and tables spaced well. The food on the fixed menu was simple but well presented and delicious. Thank you Le Normandie for your welcome and your flexibility.

It's difficult to add much more than other reviews have said. This is a lovely old chateau in a village location, positioned between Caen and Bayeux, so really well placed to visit the Normandy beaches. We were welcomed warmly and Franck was the perfect host - attentive and interesting to talk to, who provided a lovely breakfast each morning. The rooms are large and comfortable, and guests have the use of a private sitting room which was so handy if you were back late afternoon or in the evening. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

My wife and I were really looking forward to staying here but drove past twice because it was so different to the photos and no name board outside. The room we had booked was described as a "Suite with Balcony". My description of a Suite would be 2 ROOMS - a bedroom and lounge with En--suite bathroom. What we got was a smallish bedroom with a tiny balcony -just large enough for a small card table and two folding chairs. The wardrobe is in the bathroom and there are no drawers to store clothes. The gardens and driveway were unkempt. Two pink bathrobes and thin cheap towels in the bathroom. The website says "no pets allowed" but the owner has a dog (to which I am allergic) and at least 2 cats. The hotel insists on ONLY taking cash so insisted on part payment before we left without staying the night. The owner was very unpleasant and smelled badly of body odour! We would NEVER wish to stay there or to recommend this place to anybody else.
