Distinctive architecture, sun-drenched resorts and eclectic small towns dot Andalusia, a dry, mountainous region of southern Spain that maintains echoes of its Moorish occupation. Spring and fall bring balmy temperatures, ideal for visiting Seville's cathedral, the world's largest Gothic structure, and the 1,200-year-old mosque in Córdoba. Romantics love Granada, home to the fortress of Alhambra and an inspiration to the late poet Federico García Lorca. Don't miss a dip in the sea along the Costa del Sol.

We had a wonderful time at the Casa de las Cuatro Torres (“House of the Four Towers”)! The hotel is nearly 300 years old. The winding tower stairs take you from the guest room areas, through a lounge room to a private dining room and finally to the rooftop and lookout tower where you have amazing views of this historic city and the Atlantic Ocean. Our corner “apartment” had a living/dining room overlooking a square with restaurants, great for people watching, but not so busy as to be too noisy at night. From the bedroom window we looked down the street at the ocean. It was dreamy! We had all the modern comforts in this historic building: a complete bathroom with great water pressure, powerful air conditioning, reliable Wi-Fi and plenty of outlets. The kitchenette was modest but we didn’t cook there anyway - it was certainly sufficient for drinks and snacks. The breakfast buffet was well worth the 15 Euro price, with quality ingredients, variety and great service. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Lourdes, in particular, was patient, speaking slowly and letting me practice my not-yet-great Spanish skills. Everything was perfect! We highly recommend a stay here!

Madeinterranea Suites a unique Boutique Hotel in XVIII century building, protected by its historical value, located in the heart of Malaga. It allows guests to live and enjoy the most authentic and traditional parts of Andalucia. This central neighborhood, now of raging fashion, is perfectly communicated by public transport, which makes moving to any part of the city very simple. Perfectly located, this hotel is surrounded by an urban essence with Southern and Mediterranean touches.

Designed as an oasis by the beach, 4* Hotel Vera Playa Club is the first naturist hotel in Spain. Located in Vera, at the seafront and in one of the best and most sought-after nudist beaches on the coast of Almeria, it is decorated with bright colours and includes different large and bright common areas with natural plants.
Arriving at 10-15 we were greeted by what can only be described as a school rehersal for a dance show in the reception area. This was so loud we could not hear the receptionist when they were talking to us. This went on every night for a whole week in some format or another so that we could not find anywhere in the hotel bar area for a quiet drink. This debacle of what they deem to be entertainment carried on every night. but they then moved it outside. The poor residents in rooms near the patio area would not have managed any peace and quiet till after midnight even if they want it. The "entertainment" team were not in keeping with the demographic of the clientelle. Rooms were tired and even the superior double was mediocre and by no means superior. A basic hotel room but with a kettle. The room however did have a good view of the sea and was very clean if somewhat tired and needing some attention. Breakfast was good and there was plenty of choice with freshly cooked eggs, omlette and meat. We tried the hotel for dinner one night and felt conned. The soup was luke warm as was the so called hot dishes and the veg was overcooked. The only good part was the freshly grilled fish. When I complained at reception the young man said "well I eat there and like it". That was the result of the response to my complaint. 45 euro for nothing and we had to go elsewhere to eat afterwards. This hotel is lovely around the pool with a beautiful reception area but they need to up their game somewhat. Flamenco night needs a traditional guitarist and not recorded music, and some local singers on other nights or local artists would enhance the entertainment experience and stop most of the clientelle leaving the hotel for other venues. We did enjoy our stay and met some lovely people but it could have been so much better than it was. The pool is warm enough not to feel chilled and very pretty. Lots of activities in the day if you wish to join in. Lovely walks along the beach to local beach bars. We will return at some point

As much a restaurant with rooms as a hotel - just four spacious rooms on each of two floors, above and below the bar / restaurant level. We were lucky to be at the top (although unlucky to hit cool, damp weather), with a large terrace with wonderful view of the castle (floodlit at night), some small-scale farming, and the coast. A spacious, comfortable room, although needing a little attention so some wear and tear. Dinner, on a good-value half-pension package, was excellent, with a lively atmosphere in the restaurant with its open-plan kitchen. Good breakfast too, with exceptionally friendly service. 20 minutes walk down to the beach strip of Salobrena, and no noise nuisance from the main road at the back of the hotel.

In the historic and commercial center of the city of Antequera is where we have our hotel, which consists of 24 rooms in total.
The wife and I stayed here for two nights. A double room with balcony was 46 euros per night room only. The location was great with many bars nearby. We arrived by bus, the station is 10-15 minute walk. It’s an old fashioned hotel. Very clean, spacious room and friendly staff.Very little noise from outside, a little from adjacent rooms We are happy that we choose to stay here.

We arrived with small kids, and first thing we were told is that tap water have bad smell and taste, so we got mineral water instead. On the next day, we were preparing to go to the pool, just to understand it is broken. The main reason we picked this location is the pool in the desert. Needless to say that the kids were very upset. I guess that when the pool will be fixed it will be a nicer stay, but as I'm ranking following my personal stay in total, it was a disappointment

Such an interesting place to stay. Great location for visiting the sights of Jerez. We had a lovely room overlooking the garden. Very quiet and the room was a nice size with an ensuite bathroom. The bed was very comfortable with really nice bedding. The room is decorated and furnished in keeping with the Palacio - lots of character! There is a coffee machine, muffins, biscuits and nuts left for you in the room but no breakfast. Cafes serving breakfast are 2 minutes walk away. Coffee in the garden is a real treat. A tour of the Palacio by a member of the family is highly recommended.

Fabulous little apartment. Friendly and efficient reception from Emilia. It really is pretty central too, as once we’d arrived, the car remained in the underground car park and we walked everywhere. The bedroom is quiet, the bed is very comfortable, there is fast Wi-Fi and the mini kitchen is well equipped. Efficient air conditioning too. We’d definitely recommend this place.
