About a two hour train ride away from Tokyo station, a fantastic Japanese inn with hot spring. Our room had a hot spring in our room which was great. Definitely recommend this place to get away from the city and just relax. The food was great as was the service.

Spend my Valentine’s Day here, the view and the dinner course meal was fantastic (Kaiseki Ryori) The best dinner I had during my trip in Japan. If you want the full experience a two night stays is recommended but if you just want a memorable experience 1 night is good enough but make sure to check in earlier if possible.

It was a pleasant and relaxing visit to Izu hot springs. The city is smaller but so many beautiful things to visit. I advise you to walk around (it is really safe) and to visit the Japanese mask museum. 900 masks.

Location: Well, you are not here for sightseeing. There are good hiking spots around. Service: They would go above and beyond for you, and always with a smile. Cleanliness: AAA class, like most of Japan. Room: HUGE bed with an amazing private Onsen and an outdoor shower. Bed: HUGE! WIFI: Fast! Food: We took the dinner and breakfast, since there isn't much to eat around the place. It was a wonderful experience (with a lot of fish, so be prepared). And above all, they went the extra mile for my Vegan wife.

My wife and son stayed here for a night which was more than enough. I would like to start off with the service as being good and attentive. The hot spring facilities are nice and relaxing. The hotel is very old and needs a massive renovation with everything looking like a throw back to the 70's. The is a bit of a strange small in the carpets. The room was clean and nice but the private bath was old to the point of falling apart. The buffets was horrible with very limited choices, both breakfast and dinner.

Overlooking the sea from the hill, it is a superb view. Higashi Izu has the most view, all rooms have ocean view From the guest room and outdoor bath, moon road, morning glow etc, You can see the beautiful ocean view that changes with time. There are large public baths and outdoor baths for baths and 2 outdoor open-air baths for private entrance. You can see the sea view from anywhere from the room.
Truly “junnihonshiki 純日本式” (pure Japanese style). Wonderful staff, great rooms, 2 private and 2 nice sex segregated (no thanks to Christians) baths. Shoot, I forgot to count the tatami mats but the rooms was nice and all tatami except the section by the windows where one could enjoy the excellent view. In room dinner and breakfast on short legged table. Sleeping mats for the night. Superb price for such style.
