Clean, spacious room with an amazing view and extremely friendly staff. There was fruit and cake when I arrived, I stayed there for a couple of days for my bday and I wished I could have stayed longer. There were lots of bday treats and singing on the day from the staff. The drinks were lovely and they had the best Caesar salad (in my opinion). And though I can’t speak any Spanish there was no issues with communication. Lovely place.

Posada Bequeve is the very best place to stay in Los Roques. Wonderfull food. Very clean rooms. They have their own boat to go to the different beaches each day. I suggest visiting Crasqui and Cayo de Agua. Amazing islands! Also eating the típical Lobster from Los Roques. All the staff is kind and very sweet. If you want to visit Los Roques, you must choose Posada Bequeve. No doubt!

Hotel 4 Stars, which has 221 Junior Suites rooms, equipped for your maximum comfort.
I am not sure why this hotel has four stars. The room smelled funky when I got in, the air conditioning didn’t work, the room door kept unlocking and opening, the hotel wouldn’t switch my room, they provide you with un bottled drinking water that makes you sick. The WiFi works but keeps disconnecting, the food is okay.

I visited the resort with my family and my fiancée's family less than a month ago, we were 15 people. During the initial reservation process things weren't excellent but I would say good enough. Sadly after paying the required deposit to hold the reservation things started to change for the bad. After we paid the deposit for three rooms we started to being pressured to pay the rest almost immediately, but Venezuela's current monetary situation doesn't make it easy because it was a large sum of money impossible to pay with a regular credit card, so we needed a few days to be able to transfer the money. Well, they looked desperate and they couldn't wait so they pressure us into providing a credit card where they could charge us a fixed amount every day until we completed the transfer. Fine, we provided it although we felt very uncomfortable considering their attitude. In the end we were able to pay the full amount after just a few days as expected. Everything was good, paid, reserved, etc. right? Not so fast, a couple of days before the check-in day we were contacted because one of the rooms "had the A/C broken" and there was no other similar room available so now our only option was to split the people of that room into two rooms. Fine I guess right?, not so much, even though we have already paid in full and the change was caused by the resort we would have to pay the full price difference anyway! Now things were starting to go downhill. How is it right in anyone's mind to put the financial pressure of a resort problem on the guests? That's terrible customer service and their attitude about it was suspiciously similar to bait and switch. Who would want to cancel a trip two days before traveling? It seems to me this could have been easily caused on purpose but I guess we'll never know for sure. In the end after some back and forth we were "offered a discount" that apparently we should be thankful for even though we were forced to disburse more money from our pockets just to avoid having our trip canceled on the very last minute, if it looks similar to a scam to you is because that's how it also felt to us. After that the rest of things were mostly mediocre in the resort, the only good points I can highlight are security, location and the included transport service to the beach on the keys. The "welcome": When almost half of the group arrived it took them awhile to get the keys for all the rooms, the resort only had 3 of the 4 rooms ready and no one knew about the fourth room (the one we had to pay extra money two days before), that was the first clue to learn that the sales department and the resort itself have very little communication, while the second clue was the fact that even though we were a large group and that we requested rooms as close as possible (for obvious reasons) we were never told that this was an impossible feat until we were there checking in, we ended up in two different buildings that were practically on opposite sides of the resort. Of the four rooms we were assigned, one had a broken lock that was replaced after some complaining (they tried to dismiss it even though the key wasn't working correctly) and another room toilet was clogged apparently with paint, that same room was freshly painted the same day or day before (smart right?) so the odor was very strong for at least 24 hours and whoever painted it apparently flushed some paint in the toilet causing the clogging. The rooms: - None of the rooms allowed to adjust the A/C so nights were really cold, adding to this some rooms needed more blankets so we requested it in the lobby but they were never delivered, we ended up exchanging and sharing some blankets between the rooms to make it bearable, especially for the older and younger among us. - On the third day the A/C of one of the rooms simply stopped cooling and started to make a very annoying noise while releasing water. Again we went to the lobby (there was no phone in my room) and surprisingly someone went to check in less than 15 minutes, he simply turned off the A/C, explained that it was frosted and told us he would be back after an hour and send someone to clean. Well, none of that happened, thankfully we saw where he turned off the AC and simply turned it on and used a bath towel to clean the mess when we got back to the room later that day. - Towels would "disappear" after room service some days, one day we even had to personally go and pick up some because we were left with exactly zero towels in two of the rooms. The facilities: - The good about the pools is that they were nicely sized and there are various for different ages across the resort. The bad is that they seem to be irregularly cleaned so they looked greener than they should and we witnessed how one looked noticeable better after they were cleaned giving you an idea about how dirty they may be getting between clean ups. - We were there almost for a week and after leaving we're still not sure yet about the opening times for most parts of the resort. They seemed to open and close at different times. For example we visited the Wave Pool that was supposed to close at 10pm and we never saw any wave, afterwards we learned that the wave producing machine was shut off around 6pm just because there was few people or something like that... - Most parts of the facilites were poorly identified, all buildings were missing identification signage and there are are at least 6-7 buildings, there were even many rooms without a sign indicating the room number. The food: - Only breakfasts were included, not all inclusive options were offered, the breakfasts weren't bad (although extremely basic) but it was an almost identical menu every day and with a long line of at least 30 minutes just to get the food. - Servers apparently were forbidden of doing basic things such as substituting egg for extra meat because it was only one protein allowed, or even give you extra small arepas for any other ingredient, apparently whoever wrote the rule didn't know basic things like that egg and meat are both high protein food. Anyway, if you don't eat any of the ingredientes you may be out of luck because you won't be allowed to get any substitute for it... The customer service: - With a few exceptions mostly mediocre. For whatever you need you'll have to walk to the lobby that could be located far from your building. They'll make you believe that they will work on solving any issue but in our experience they will do nothing more than 95% of the times. The amenities: - We self-discovered that there were shows during the nights (no one provided clear info about this on arrival) and overall they were decent, could be better but at least I did have a somewhat fun night watching one and drinking some beers. Sadly food was scarce during this event. Keep in mind that these were teens and adult oriented shows, not child appropriate most of the time. - The free shuttle and boat service to the keys worked well overall and we didn't ran into any major problem with it. The location: Excellent, in less than 10-15 minutes you could be boarding a boat to any Morrocoy key, and you're also very close to town in case you want to go get some food, supplies, etc. Security: Something extremely important in today's Venezuela. I easily can say this was among the best things in the resort. We felt very secure in general, we saw security staff walking around and present across the resort. Never had or heard any safety related issue. This was really comforting especially for the teenagers that were able to have fun without having to constantly worry about their safety. So, in the end this is another example of why Venezuela is not a tourists recommended destination even though it has all the spectacular natural resources that makes the country a privileged place for tourism. You just have to visit a similar resort in a many other countries to immediately notice the difference on how you'll be treated and how they really try to maintain a comfortable place where you won't have to worry about anything.

I never miss an opportunity to advise readers of the disaster this hotel is: it can easily be renamed: Hotel Cesspit, since the water in the pool smells it was recycled from a cesspool. It can also serve as a penetentiary: the food is full of flies, the rooms are moldy like cells and the service feels like a baton in the back or a painful monthly. Even if you are tased, it wouldn't feel as bad as a night in this Spanish dungeon. I can't believe its still suckering visitors... doesn't anybody read the reviews? Do they think we are joking? When I visited there, we had to physically lift an infirmed relative since the trolley service to the room which was some distance away was down.. and you know what, they put in room with several flights of stairs. These people, the management and staff are about the wickedest and worst Magarita has to offer. O mi dios.. Margarita will suffer greatly for the hurt these people put on unsuspecting visitors - ADIOS HOTEL HELL!!!!!!!!!
