I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel for three nights this past week. Staff was both helpful and friendly. Room was comfortable and cool enough so I slept well. Free breakfast bar was excellent along with the wide selection including fresh fruits and the ability to customize your omelet. It was everything I could ask for in a hotel. If there was one thing I could change, I would add a grab bar near the tub as I am getting older and the tile floor of the bathroom was slippery when it got wet.

Modern 3 stars all-inclusive beach resort, providing excellent accommodations dispersed through spacious bright pastel colored buildings, that are nostalgic of a native old style fishermen's village nestled within lush tropical vegetation, surrounded by coconut and almonds trees that line the beach. Beachfront fresh water pool. Located right on the front line of Boca Chica Beach, Dominican Republic 15 minutes from Las Americas International Airport and 30 kilometers from Santo Domino city.
Clean room & very helpful staff. Hot water for bathing can be a challenge on the weekends though when fully booked. Beautiful ocean. Panhandling is not allowed on property but when you step on the sand, well... They are nice people trying to make a living. We found that they are very friendly if you have a brief conversation with them then politely decline if you choose. We made small purchases. The inclusive food is good/not great. There is a pay restaurant on the dock that is whala also. Very good food. The sports bar in the middle of the complex is pay as well with excellent food. Nice to have thse options to take a break from the buffet food.

On Friday 3/11/22, my family and I showed to Hamaca hotel in Boca Chica at 6PM as we had reservation for two rooms X 4 people. However, they was no electricity in the hotel, a lady at the front desk took our IDs/passports, gave us the bracelets and told us to return later as they could not provide us the room key due to lock of power. My family and I left the facility returned 3 hours later (9PM) and there was still no power. At that time there was a gentleman by the name of Edgardo was at the front desk, we informed him that we were leaving the facility as we waited for the key for 3 hours. He said he was going to have us a no show. We asked him how he will have us a no show since we were there talking to him. He then provided us a piece of paper with his name on it, name of the hotel and phone number confirming we were there. However, the hotel still have us as a no show and refusing to reimburse us the $364.50 I paid.

The experience by the pool and the food was good, the service could be better from Angelina Santana, who doesn’t know what customer service is, who was very disrespectful ignoring guests being unhelpful with her colleagues. By the other hand I want to recognize that Mr. Wagner and Celsy tried to do their best the entire stay!

Comfortable place Short unexpected trip that was delightful. I used sauna service and was enjoyed room service. The sancocho is sooo yummy . It rained while there so it felt empty but it was nice to enjoy pool and sauna to myself and enjoyed various Dominican dishes . Kudos to The chef and price reasonable if you nearby restaurant Near malecón they charged more and found the room service food better . Bed was comfortable and all in all woke return

The staff at Residencial las Palmeras were great. Emily was always there when ever we needed something or had a question. The Penthouse that we had overlooking the ocean was amazing. I recommend anyone that is going to visit Boca Chica that they stay at this resort. Will definitely make reservations again here.

I had a horrible experience in this particular hotel. I personally wouldn’t recommend to anyone. I had a late check-in and when I went to my room and after a long day I decided to take a shower and seen this which was obvious dissatisfying and very disgusting if you ask me. I had to call the lobby and it took approximately 30-45 to get everything fixed. And if you thought that was all it was only the beginning… the lights kept constantly turning on and off and around 5 am I couldn’t take it anymore all source of electricity was gone for 45 mins and the heat was very discomforting. Around 8am all electricity was gone once again it took a hour before everything was back to normal and to make matters worst the water would stop working once the source of power is gone. I was very upset about the whole situation and didn’t want to waste anymore time there had a early check out and went to lobby to get any sort of refund based of the horrible service I’ve experienced and all I got was a waiver to make sure it won’t happen again when none of it should’ve happen in the first place. ?

A little jewel near historical places and shopping centers. Excelent atention is our priority, Always giving the best of us to you!
We took a quick trip Santo Domingo and had trouble finding our Air BNB. THIS place and as around the corner and cheaply priced. Nothing fancy here but had a nice restaurant attached to it. Definitely better hotels around but it fits the bill.
