Huge bedroom with lounge area dining room two bathrooms and a big wrap around balcony. Pool area was lovely, jacuzzi and plenty of loungers. Breakfast area overlooking the river with plenty of choice Good selection of restaurants and bars within the hotel Convenient hotel water taxi service to get you in to the city centre a real bonus Overall a first class hotel which I would definitely return to

Reviewed By CarolHglobalOur stay at the U Sathorn was exquisite! The staff at the reception and restaurants were all so friendly. They organised our short trips with their caravan/tuk to the nearest BTS station and gave us advise on how to get by which we appreciated very much. Room service was delivered without any delays, and food in general was always just mouthwatering! The breakfast buffet was quite a treat and enough for one to be spoilt for choice. I would recommend this hotel to others. It is also family friendly and has a nice pool which comes in handy with the heat in Bangkok!

Ariyasomvilla Boutique Hotel is a very unique property in the centre of Bangkok. The original house was built by the current Owners Grandparents in 1942. Unlike other hotels Ariyasomvilla gives you a real sense of place and time but with all modern facilities you would expect from 5 star hotels. With 24 rooms Ariyasomvilla is very private and feels like a sanctuary. The pool is large enough for lap, while the spa offers excellent massage.

The Thai decor is rich in wood, with high ceilings, big windows and a real feeling of being in a tropical oasis in the middle of the city. The outdoor courtyard is great for relaxing with cocktails, and the spa is simple with outdoor pavilion, but a great therapist. The owner is English and super chatty and he has an adorable cat who roams around the villa and makes the place feel homely. Great experience, great location if you walk (traffic is horrendous around Sukhumvit shopping areas) or take the boat, and great value.

Reviewed By LpoglesbySuper quick and convenient for an airport transfer, but this was one of the dirtiest hotel rooms I’ve stayed in. There were cobwebs in the corners, under the bed had not been swept in what looked like 6 months and there were mouse droppings in the corners next to the bed.

Recommend! It was a nerve wracking 24 hours waiting for the pcr test results. This resort made it feel more comfortable.

Reviewed By Sk8tieI stayed at the Thong Ta Resort in 2013 and really couldn't say enough good things about it, The hotel grounds and rooms were very well maintained. On this trip it appeared to have digressed slightly. Our room had an excellent A/C unit, the plumbing worked and we managed to get a good night of rest but this is really a cheap accommodation with no frills. The furnishings in the rooms are very out dated, although the room was clean it's not sparkling clean, more like bare minimum and in our hallway there was a foul odor. But for $23 US per night it provided a safe, cool and decent night of rest.

Forget First Impressions - definitely not a resort.

We arrived about 21:40, and the hotel was at the end of a small road, they were growing lettuce in the car park, inside was very bare, and staff weren't dressed very smartly. Check in was quite painless, and room occupancy was as we required, which surprised me. Lift to to rooms only took 2 people at a time, and it was actually faster for some to walk up the stairs. The rooms were very basic, but the beds were very comfortable, and I slept like a baby. My 'city view' was a wall about 10' away. Breakfast looked OK in the advert when we booked - roof terrace/buffet. In reality (I assume because of Covid) it was served in our rooms.

Reviewed By kencrow17Stayed here many times now and love the relaxed atmosphere. It's in a great location for the local night life but situated down a quiet soi, so there is now disturbance. The staff are excellent and nothing is too much trouble for them. Well worth a visit.
