The coziest!
Reviewed By Gabriel_9_LopezLocated on a mountain road, the almost-hidden entrance does not reveal the structure below. The view from the room showed the mountains and valleys of the area, exactly what I went there to see, but didn't expect the view from my window to show that! The room faced south. Small, walls lined with wood and with two ultra-cozy beds, the room really brings us a mountain cabin atmosphere. The shower in the room was also flawless. In the morning, breakfast was server on 1 table per room in the common cafeteria, where classical music was playing every morning, and the view was as spectacular as the room's. A bit far from the town, but a short drive takes you to the heart of Campos do jordão, with bars, malls, and lots of people. Me and my wife went for the cold, the mountain, the reclusive atmosphere and the views, and we were blessed with more than we could ask for.

OK for a short stay
Reviewed By Rainer TWe booked vilarejo chale on a short notice because our favourite pousada was fully booked. The place is OK, bath room and kitchen sufficiently equipped. Other places offer more privacy, so our room for 6 was only a single big room, which made maximum number of guests on minimum area. Cleanliness was acceptable, no area around, which our kids were missing most. In total OK, but not our first choice. Next time we will try to get our favourite pousada again. For people who come to maresias for surfing \ beach only still a reasonable choices.

Nice weekend break
Reviewed By SaniHadekA lovely family pension very close to São Paulo. You will feel completely at home. The place used to be a rose farm, and it's very charming. Lots of nature around, big and clean swimming pool (plus a smaller pool for babies). Lovely breakfast, very friendly and helpfull staff, tasty food with huge size portions, all homemade (many ingredientes coming from their organic garden). Spent a few great and relaxing days with my baby there. I just found a bit hard to get there by car, as the GPS didn't really reconize the address and there were no signs to the pension.

Weekend at the Fazenda São Francisco
Reviewed By grantf598We had a great weekend, my wife and I. The restored Fazenda is fascinating, the horse riding wonderful and the National Park close by. Walton and Eriana are wonderful hosts, fluid in French, English and Portuguese. The gardens are spectacular. We would recommend it for a few days or a week! Also the museum located in the main house is worth the visit.

In addition to offering all the services of an inn as bedding , bath , maid , a delicious breakfast with breads, cakes and jams prepared with great care , we still have internal parking , meditation room , Internet Wifi , pool overlooking pro sea and located right in front of Pinto Beach in the north of the island . Our great advantage is that our accommodations are actually complete houses with suite with air conditioning , ceiling fan , TV, living room, balcony , full kitchen with all appliances , bathroom with gas heater and still offer duplex accommodation for up to four people.

Beautiful Birding & Hospitality
Reviewed By ezamora5This place is clean and comfortable, rich in history and perfect for what we wanted. A clear view of the stars, the beautiful sounds of birds and wildlife/the great outdoors, and the greatest hospitality. The owner is so hospitable, and he and his family are truly what make this place. The home cooked meals, the amazing coffee made themselves, even the Cachaca, also made themselves! You can feel the love and the heart. I would recommend it for everyone, and I already miss it! (Went last week)
